    Outlander is not getting in anywhere. I know the fandom is campaigning hard and creating GD accounts left & right just to predict, Goldderby has also jumped on the bandwagon with the extensive Outlander coverage this past week, but its not gonna happen. Outlander did not get in last year and it won’t get in this year.

    Daaaaaaamn! Outlander fans aren’t playing. LMFAO! I don’t agree with Outlander in Drama Series and Best Actress. But, I wouldn’t mind a nom for Sam Heughan. He was great towards the end of season two.

    Peter Dinklage. I mean c’mon. We fall for that bait every year and we never learn our lesson. It would have been one thing if he was still unawarded for that role but Globes was one of only first places that has awarded him and he has been completely forgotten ever since. Its so rare for actors to win, get snubbed and return to the race again after few years like nothing has happened. It happens more often in the Lead categories because of the lack of competition and insufficient amount of viable contenders there. And it’s not like this was such a great season for Tyrion with lots of material, either.That was last season. And I’m still not completely sold on that the same group who have never nominated Anna Gunn in the sake of Hayden Panettiere for the 2th time, Sofia Vergara for the 4th time, Jacqueline Bissett and Janet McTeer for the miniseries no one in America knows about will suddenly feel so sentimental about Jonathan Banks, either. I understand that since Supporting categories are so catch on GG and almost impossible to predict fully, we all prefer to play it safe and go for what Emmys went but… I hope no one would seriously think Hamm will win another Globe this year, ugh. It would even make more sense to pick a random name out of hat than to predict the people who have been snubbed for the last couple of years when it comes to HFPA.

    Yeah the Outlander stuff is so ridiculous. Have you guys checked out the “Questions for Sam” thread? Look at all those people who have never posted once on this site but their google alert went ringing when they saw that. Also doubt Game of Thrones is coming back. They weren’t nominated last year why would they be nominated this year? Actors too.

    If game of thrones were to get nominated it would be Emilia Clarke. She’s a rising star and she’s like the most beautiful woman in the world or something right? So they’d give her a nod.

    Actually Game of Thrones WAS nominated last year, Kyle. The thing is that The only seasons of the show to ever get ANY nominations were for the very 1st and 4th season, including last years. Peter Dinklage won on his only nomination, for the shows very first season, so naturally I’m not predicting him, let alone Lena Headey.

    Do you think Jon Hamm and Game of Thrones can at least get NOMINATED for Best Actor and Best Drama Series? I’m predicting both VERY hesitantly, and am open to hearing arguments for why they couldn’t make even the nominations round, but first I need some serious convincing. Also, if not Johnathan Banks, then who? Christian Slater, perhaps? I’m predicting Banks simply due to a lack of competition. I also have (PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THESE) Tituss Burgess for UKS, Ted Danson for Fargo (the Globes loved this guy enough to nominate him for Becker! I love Becker but the Emmys sure didn’t seem to), Damien Lewis for Wolf Hall, and lastly Michael Kenneth Williams for Bessie. Those are not exactly how I have them ranked, but your feedback would be very much appreciated EmmyRunner. 🙂

    My mistake. I was thinking of the year before. Still, I don’t know if it’ll keep its place. Strange it made it back in last year

    Both Nash (31st) and Michele (34th) will indivudally get more votes than most women in that prediction list combined. Lena Headey is not a thing. I predicted you all that she will lose the Emmy, and I predict you all that she isn’t going to be nominated for the Globes.

    Also Gaga isn’t happening over Bates. Either both or only Bates.

    Matt Bomer will also miss out. Like seriously. He’s the worst performer of the show.

    @Teridax Sorry, can’t quote your post because I’m on mobile, but here are my thoughts about your questions.(And I’m also enjoying your perspective about these things.)
    As I’ve said in an another thread, the last time when the Globes snubbed that particular year’s Emmy Drama Series winner was back in 1978. The fact that GoT managed to get nominated last year after consecutive snubs also doesn’t hurt it’s chances. So I would guess it is safe for A NOMINATION at least, but not a win. Hmm, Jon Hamm is another subject. It’s %100 that he won’t win again after this point, so they might find it uneccesary to bring him back from the dead. Especially now that he already obtained his precious Emmy. On the other hand the media stroke themselves over to win him that award just a few months ago and HFPA are “supposed” to be people from the press. So a filler nomination is not that of a longshot, perhaps. I’m not gonna predict him, but I can’t mad at you if you do. Especially considering the weak competition in that category. Remember there are only 90 voters here. So even if 10 person writes his name, he can get in. “Definitely” bet on Liev Schreiber in this category, though. He is a past movie star. He finally got nominated for an Emmy this year. And his show was definitely a Globes darling even before the Emmys recognized it. And on top of everything he is part of a movie that very well might be an Oscar frontrunner this year. He will be there, sitting with his cast members from Spotlight on the same table, so why not award him with a trophy for a role they already like? His only competition will be with Rami Malek.

    Just like the Guest categories at the Emmys we can NEVER fully predict Supporting categories here, so my suggestion is that stick with what what you are predicting, and don’t overthink about it. In the end, there will be two person that everyone saw it coming, two person that people considered a possibility but never gave it a real shot and one person no one ever thought about it, that will make the cut.

    Right now I’d say;
    Tituss Burgess, Ted Danson, Jonathan Banks, Ben Mendelsohn, Michael Kelly. Those were somehow buzzed performances from buzzed shows this year. And these voters don’t really watch TV, their winners mostly based on the reviews they had read on the internet.They could also go with Kit Harington or Jussie Smollett if they so much want to jump on the bandwagon but I doubt it.

    Just about all of the supporting actor and actress predictions. The most shocking nominations are always in these categories but the combined predictions right now are so safe (Uzo Aduba, Jonathan Banks, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Regina King, Monique, etc.)
