ACTOR: Liev Schreiber — no real support for the show.

ACTRESS: Maslany is in danger, but I don’t think she’ll be kicked out quite yet. I think they all make it back in.

SUPPORTING ACTOR: Ben Mendelsohn sight unseen, maybe Michael Kelly? He got lucky last year because his best material was at the beginning of the season, but I don’t think he has much to do this year. Jim Carter should have zero noms for this role, but I’m at peace with it by now.

SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Christine Baranski, maybe? Yes, she was amazing in the finale, but ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Downton Abbey’ have much more support, and Aduba is Aduba. I’m not predicting a snub quite yet, but she is probably fifth for a nom.

Chandler, Maslany and Mendelsohn strike me as most vulnerable, with a lot obviously depending on how Bloodline fares this season.

    DRAMA ACTOR:
Kyle Chandler – Depends on how strong Bloodline is. I think he’s in as long as it’s as strong.
    Bob Odenkirk – Lock.
Liev Schreiber – Could drop out like Voight did in season 1. However he’s a popular guy and I think he returns.
    Kevin Spacey – Lock.

    DRAMA ACTRESS:
Claire Danes – Nominated every year for Homeland, no reason to drop out now.
    Viola Davis – Lock.
Taraji P. Henson – Vulnerable considering Empire is clearly not popular within the industry (and has much less buzz than last year.)
Tatiana Maslany – Shock nomination last year, that may have been her only nomination. Definitely vulnerable.
    Robin Wright – Lock.

    DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTOR:
Jonathan Banks – Safe enough, unless Michael McKean is able to steal the majority of his votes (I think both are in.)
Jim Carter – Almost a lock, no reason for him to drop out now in Downton’s last year.
Alan Cumming – Popular among the industry, I think he returns for The Good Wife’s last year.
    Peter Dinklage – Lock.
Michael Kelly – Could be vulnerable depending on how voters feel about his performance this year – less buzz over his performance than last year.
Ben Mendelsohn – definitely vulnerable, depends how large his role in Bloodline is. I think he’s out.

    DRAMA SUPPORTING ACTRESS:
    Uzo Aduba – Lock.
Christine Baranski – No reason to drop out.
Emilia Clarke – Seems to have support within the industry and GOT is bigger than ever.
Joanne Froggatt – Loved in the industry, doesn’t seem likely to drop out in Downton’s last year
Lena Headey – Starting to become a mainstay in this category and seems set to get another nomination.

Hahaha, amazing how people just go with the flow. I am certain most of you haven’t even watched last season of Ray Donovan, which has Schreiber’s best and he has a winning tape, wouldn’t count him out that soon.

Yeah, I wouldn’t count out Schreiber pulling a Jeff Daniels. I know Spacey won SAG but I don’t think he has an obvious, powerhouse tape to send and I’m not convinced the Emmys will necessarily ever embrace Better Call Saul wins-wise.

Tiraji P. Henson– Snubbed at SAG, lost momentum. Last year when it was the most talked about show, the voters only gave it 2 nominations.
Tatiana Maslany– They are not watching Orphan Black.

She was snubbed by SAG, but the following day she was nominated for the Globe. Then a month later she WON the Globe. Why are you using the SAG snub as the reason she won’t be nominate this year for the Emmy?? She’s coming off a major win 4 months ago.

Yeah, Taraji is not getting snubbed. We all know that SAG don’t respond to freshmen shows till their second season – case in point, Transparent & Jeffrey Tambor.

Henson still has buzz. She won’t win, but I can’t see a scenario where she’s not coming back.
