reveiws are coming out of SXSW. Here is the first:
I havn’t seen any other reviews yet but as soon as I found out that Oscar winner Barry Jenkins was attached, I knew this would be an Emmy contender.
So what do y’all think?March 13, 2017 at 12:46 pm #1202036026
Not expecting the Emmys to bite, but sounds promising! Will have to watch the movie.March 13, 2017 at 1:18 pm #1202036057
Nope.March 13, 2017 at 2:15 pm #1202036097
<p style=”text-align: left;”>The movie was great, so I have decent expectations for this. This could very well end up being this generations A Different World.</p>March 13, 2017 at 10:43 pm #1202036392
I’ve seen four reviews so far and they all were great. Two reviews on meta critic right now, a 100 and a 80.March 13, 2017 at 11:10 pm #1202036397
Tessa Thompson and Teyonah Parris were such revelations in the movie. I’d love to watch them guest starring at some point. Even a cameo would do for me, something!April 13, 2017 at 7:10 am #1202065368
First bad review- he said it start strong and gets weak. The SXSW critics only saw the first two so I wonder if reviews are going to start getting a lot worst or if this guy is a minority.April 13, 2017 at 10:06 am #1202065552
Amazing trailerApril 20, 2017 at 1:36 pm #1202071999
really good reviews so far
Only one bad review that I mentioned earlier. I was nervous that it meant the show strtes strong and gets bad, like he said, as he was the only one that saw more than two episodes. However, Mo Ryan still likes the show after seeing more episodes. I have a feeling Netflix has another contender on their hands. I am so exicted for this.I will wait for the release to see more reviewsApril 20, 2017 at 1:58 pm #1202072017
I don’t think this show will be an awards contender even with great reviews.April 20, 2017 at 2:05 pm #1202072029
Dear White People was probably the most racist movie I’ve ever seen. I’m not planning to watch the show even though reviews seem positive. I’m hard to get offended but that fucking movie was so fucking offensive.April 20, 2017 at 2:10 pm #1202072039
