ER was at the top of the game in its first years. Anthony Edwards should’ve won at least one time for his role as Mark Greene. I’m glad it won Series for it’s second season, which is also the best season in my opinon, but I kinda wish it had more awards in the bag.

Well, St Elsewhere has the record for most major awards for a series without ever taking a Series trophy. Far more than current “omg it’s so due” fave Breaking Bad.
    So that.

Yes, E.R. deserved far more Emmy’s than it actually got.  I still cannot believe that people like George Clooney, Anthony Edwards, Laura Innes and Gloria Ruben never won Emmy’s, not to mention Noah Wylie who grew up on the show…  It’s also sad that for as many Guest Acting nominations as it often got, it only won two.

15 years and only one cast member could get an Emmy. That’s a shame.

As much as I admire Dennis Franz’s breathtaking work on NYPD Blue, I think that Anthony Edwards was worthy of at least one Emmy during his run on ER. Well, at least he has one for producing Temple Grandin (seriously did not see that coming). Not too familiar with Mandy Patinkin’s work on Chicago Hope. Did he deserve to win in 1995?

Noah Wyle was pretty underrated, I feel. He would have made a great winner for any of his nominated seasons.
