Seeing Jonathan Banks nominated over Michael McKean just proves that the actors aren’t watching Better Call Saul. I love Banks but he didn’t have much to work with this season. McKean was pure gold and should not only have been nominated, but should have WON the supporting actor award.

I would LOVE to see Odenkirk prevail. But I doubt it’s happening.

MTV is considered a barometer of quality now?

Ensemble win is not an individual win.

Schrieber is winning y’all. Aahoto is right. Odenkirk can give the best performance of all time and it doesn’t matter if nobody is watching it (See: Aisha Hinds). The actors branch simply does not care for Better Call Saul. It lost Odenkirk and couldn’t get Ensemble at SAG. Banks nomination over Seehorn and McKean in more proof that they are willing to namecheck the show more than they are willing to watch it. Schrieber is this years Mendholson except he actually has a tape. He is beloved by the inndustry and the Category is mostly weak with contenders with support that he will pull through. Brown won’t be able to overcome the votesplitting.

Brown won’t be able to overcome the votesplitting.

Please! He overcame actual tough vote-splitting last year. This year no one is voting for Ventimiglia. If he loses, that’s not going to be the excuse.

He’s not winning dude, last year he was a frontrunner, this year he will see Bob Odenkirk win.

There is not a single person on Earth besides Teridax that thinks Schwimmer or Travolta was better than Brown. That was not tough vote splitting.

The season ended on Ventimiglia’s tape. The last thing people saw if the show was Ventimiglia’s all time best performance.

He has been working forever and is just now getting an Emmy nomination. The new system last year showed that the voters LOVE rewarding under awarded actors. Brown already won last year. Ventimiglia will definitely split votes.

Brown just won last year as well. There is now way he doesn’t lose votes to Milo.

You think they’re watch Ray Donovan? If they are, they obviously don’t like it that much.

They don’t have to be watching it. Do you think the voters that voted for Martindale, Scolari, and Mendholson were watching those shows?

So therefore Odenkirk is winning, correct, since it doesn’t matter whether they watch the show or not?

Odenkirk won’t win because the actors do t give a shit about Better Call Saul. Nor do they Ray Donovan but Schrieber is overdue, he’s worked with everybody, everybody loves him, the new system favors working actors like him, and the actors aren’t against rewarding Ray Donovan as shown by Hank Azaria’s win.

Azaria is a big emmy favorite. He didn’t win because they wanted to reward an actor from Ray Donovan, he won because he’s Hank Azaria. Odenkirk has a few writing wins from 25 years ago, but he’s definitely overdue for an acting win and is just as beloved as Schreiber is. I think there’s a better argument for Spacey and Brown winning since Spacey at least got SAG (which Schreiber has never gotten for RD) and is more overdue than anyone in this category, and Brown was considered the season standout and front runner until Milo was nominated. He’s more likely to overcome vote splitting than Schreiber winning.
