I’m really starting to think Rains of Castamere will win writing.

I think they’re perfect. Those are exactly the submissions I had them making.

Those Mad Men tapes are solid too. They may be more of a contender than I initially thought, thanks to the second half of the season (thank God they didn’t submit “The Crash”).

I actually think Tape A for Mad Men is weakish and their writing/directing snubs are indicative of weakening support, but very good submissions for them.

I’m happy “The Crash” was left off because what a hot mess that was.

The only question mark I had about MM’s submissions was Flood vs. Crash. I personally prefer Crash, but as the above indicates it’s very divisive. Which isn’t always bad. But I possibly agree with their submissions more than I ever have.

The other 5 are Weiner’s solo writing submission, his directing submission, and co-producers Levy/Chellas/Jacquemettons’ writing submissions. Which made them locks to me.

Mad Men made a wise move. I’m a little surprised that “The Crash” didn’t make it,but maybe the lesser nomination total made them think that they should play things safe.

I guess the only surprise I have with Breaking Bad is the lack of”Madrigal”, though I figured it was between that and “Hazard Pay”.

So happy for Mad Men submitting “For Immediate Release”, which was my favorite episode of last season.

Breaking Bad did perfect, I hope they win.

I agree almost completely with the BB submissions (even though it lacks Madrigal), but… urgh, Buyout. I can what they were going for, but I would’ve put Madrigal paired with Dead Freight and left the rest as is. Those are still the second best group of submissions behind Homeland, and I do think they have the momentum to win this.
