Who do you think should host the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards? Irregardless on the network, who is your dream host/hosts for the Emmys next year?

    Some of mine are:

Neil Patrick Harris could return and KILL it again

Bill Hader would be an excellent host. I think if they pair him with Kristen Wiig, the Emmys would be amazing. Hader could appear as Stefon, describing “New York’s Hottest Award Shows”

Why not get Betty White and Cloris Leachman to co-host? The old lady schtick is going to become stale soon so they should cash in one last time with getting TV’s greatest grandmothers to host

I’d rather see  Betty White co host with another male tv legand. Someone like Carl Reiner maybe 🙂 Or her hosting alone would be terrific as well!

Jimmy Fallon would do the trick.

With the hijinks Amy Poehler has pulled in her category in 2009 and 2011, I’d love to see her host.  Potentially with Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig if she doesn’t want to do it alone.

I’d love to see them pull together three or four of TV’s funniest ladies; Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Martha Plimpton and Maya Rudolph to host together.

Maybe each host could emcee portions of the show (Reality, Drama, etc) and then pass the torch to the other… and perhaps towards the end of the show they could get all 4 on-stage together for a skit or two.

OR maybe a great Male/Female Duo, perhaps a hilarious female with a serious male… I’m thinking something like Amy Phoeler with somebody like Michael C. Hall?

Or maybe grab somebody from Daytime like Wendy Williams or Katie Couric? Ricki Lake, maybe?

You really can’t start the thread by saying regardless of the network.

CBS has the ceremony and will be very vocal about who hosts.

It will most likely be Neil Patrick Harris or Craig Ferguson.

Ashton Kutcher. He’s not my dream Emmy host, but I won’t be surprised if CBS chooses him. NPH needs to take a break from hosting award shows for a big while.

Melissa McCarthy is also a logical choice. But does it mean she will be nominated for Mike & Molly again?
