Now that the cluster of a ceremony called the Emmys is over, what are some of your early predictions for next year?

Amy Poehler for an overdue win next year? I sure hope so. Now that Laura Dern lost, I am refocussing all my energy towards Amy, and I will keep rooting for her until Parks and Rec is canceled.

Couldn’t care less about any other categories.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Peter Sarsgaard for The Killing. I’d love to predict him for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, because he was absolutely f**king phenomenal in his final episode and his performance was one of the best acting pieces I’ve ever seen on TV in my entire life. But it’s way too good for the Emmys, which means he obviously won’t even be nominated.

I’ll list what/who I think is getting dropped and their replacement:

    Drama:

Boardwalk Empire replaces Downton Abbey in Series
Steve Buscemi or James Spader replaces Hugh Bonneville
Keri Russell replaces Michelle Dockery/Connie Britton
If Anna Gunn goes lead, Robin Wright is getting knocked off
Dean Norris gets into Supporting Actor in Jonathan Bank’s empty spot
Cory Stoll gets into Supporting Actor in Bobby Cannavale’s empty spot
    Rupert Friend replaces Jim Carter
    Betsy Brandt replaces Christine Barinski

    Comedy:

Parks and Recreation takes 30 Rock’s empty spot in Series
Orange is the New Black replaces Girls in Series
Michael J Fox takes Alec Baldwin’s empty spot
Jake Johnson takes Jason Bateman’s empty spot
    Adam Scott replaces Matt LeBlanc
Zooey Deschanel takes Tina Fey’s empty spot
Taylor Schilling takes Laura Dern’s empty spot
Max Greenfield takes Bill Hader’s empty spot
    Nick Offerman replaces Adam Driver
Matt Walsh or Chris Pratt replaces Jesse Tyler Ferguson

Tatiana Maslany once again gives the best performance of the season by any performer and Emmys still don’t give a fuck.

-‘Orange is the New Black’ gets major nominations in Comedy
-‘Breaking Bad’ sweeps in the Drama category, repeating Drama Series and taking Lead Actor (Cranston), Supp. Actor (Paul), and Supp. Actress (Gunn).
-‘Veep’ gets even more nominations, breaking into writing and directing, and earning nominations for Comedy Series, Lead Actress (Louis-Dreyfus), Supp. Actor (Hale), Supp. Actor (Walsh), and Supp. Actress (Chlumsky), with Louis-Dreyfus and Hale threepeating and repeating.
-‘New Girl’ returns with nominations for Comedy Series, Lead Actress (Deschanel), Lead Actor (Johnson), Supp. Actor (Greenfield).
-Amy Poehler wins Lead Actress, Comedy for ‘Parks and Recreation’

I think the biggest shakeups will most definitely be in the comedy categories. No more ’30 Rock’, the love for ‘Girls’ possibly weakening, and ‘Louie’ not being eligible (it’s possible since Louis C.K. said he’s going to take his time writing season 4, it may not make the deadline). I think this opens things up for ‘Orange is the New Black’ for sure. I think ‘New Girl’ could return as well.

Do you think Dame Anna Gunn has a chance to beat Claire Danes if she goes to Lead Actress?
