What are your Emmy episode submissions that never happened. My favorite is “New Amsterdam” for Vincent Karthesier.

Definitely agree with Elizabeth Mitchell for One of Us.

Marcia Cross should have gotten in for Season 2 (her submission of “Next” wasn’t the best but it was still worthy) but that season alone she had “That’s Good, That’s Bad”, “Could I Leave You?”, “No One is Alone”, and I am sure a few others because that last half of the season was killer for her.

Sherri Shepherd for Guest Actress for 30 Rock in 2011 for “Queen Of Jordan.”

Rue McClanahan for Lead Actress for The Golden Girls in 1990 for “Sick & Tired Part 2.”  I truly think that this submission would have stopped Candice Bergen from winning Emmy #2 just from the scene in the kitchen.

Bea Arthur for Lead Actress for The Golden Girls in 1992 for “Goodbye Mr. Gordon.”  This would have been a dynamic submission due to the range that Bea has in this episode and who can forget the line” I really don’t know, but I’ll ask her tomorrow when I visit her at the hooooooommmmmmmmmeeee” and that stare that followed the line.

Rue McClanahan for Lead Actress for The Golden Girls in 1992 for “Journey To The Center Of Attention”

Lauren Ambrose was ridiculously robbed of an Emmy nomination at least for the last two episodes of Six Feet Under, “Static” and “Everyone’s Waiting“.

If Betty White got in this year, she could have won with the episode “Bridezelka”

For each season of Gilmore Girls, here are my choices for Lauren Graham and Kelly Bishop:

    Season 2
LG – The Road Trip to Harvard
    KB – There’s the Rub

    Season 3
LG – Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days or They Shoot Gilmores, Don’t They?
    KB – That’ll Do, Pig

    Season 4
    LG – Raincoats and Recipes
KB – Scene In a Mall or The Reigning Lorelai

    Season 5
    Both – Wedding Bell Blues

    Season 6
LG – Partings (but could be too dramatic) or Friday Night’s Alright for Fighting or The Perfect Dress
KB – Driving Miss Gilmore or Friday Night’s Alright for Fighting

    Season 7
LG – Lorelai? Lorelai? (if only for the karaoke scene)
    KB – Gilmore Girls Only

In my opinion, Mandy Patinkin was robbed this year. He would be very competitive and even could win with “Halfway to a Donut” or “There’s something else going on”. Both are incredible episodes and his perfomance is awesome!
