Is there a win that you are predicting (and fairly confident in) for this upcoming Emmy awards ceremony and are completely dreading to see happen?

Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.

Anything for Veep other than Hugh Laurie – and even then, I’d only be happy about it because he deserves at least one Emmy.

Anything for TIU other than McRaney

If Chrissy Metz wins that will be a huge mistake. I’d much rather see Thandie Newton or Millie Bobby Brown win.

    1. Alec Baldwin who is not funny as Trump and had a horrible tape.

    2. Thandie Newton losing to Metz or Brown.

    3. Regina King winning AGAIN because she has a lot of friends in TV and her competition will split votes.

    4. Any comedic win for Atlanta which I found to be as funny as an episode of The Handmaid’s Tale.

    5. Judith Light’s perfect performance in her episode losing to McKinnon whose SNL work is worth one Emmy and no more.

That category could have been such a killer lineup. It was very dissapointing in my opinion. King, while not the best supporting on her show, was in my opinion the best in that category. I personally thought that Woodley should be nominated in lead, Davis did nothing, Dern was good but there were better. Hoffman was good but there were a lot more people who did better. Pfieffer did nothing.

I would have nominated King on my personal list but before even considering voting for the others (outside of Woodley who belongs in lead and Dern who I wouldn’t nominate but I’d place her in the middle of this list) I would have nominated (in no particular order): Aidna Porter, Kathy Bates, Aisha Hinds, Mary Elizabeth Wisntead, Sarah Paulson, Laura Fraser, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, Lilly Taylor, Ana Mulvoy Ten, Mickaëlle X. Bizet, Olivia Sandoval, Amara Karan, Amanda Abbington, Bella Dayne, DeWanda Wise, Wunmi Mosaku, and Laura Weedman

    My Personal List is:
Lilly Taylor and Mickaëlle X. Bizet

    Regina King (spoilers)

    Adina Porter
    Kathy Bates

    Mary Elizabeth Winstead

    Ana Mulvoy Ten

    Aisha Hinds

I personally believe the goal of acting is to make the Viewers feel. Feel anything. TO me, King has the rare gift of making me feel for her whoever she is playing. Anytime she has a scene where she gets to sadly look into the distance, I cry. Because she is that great in my opinion. And she has the perfect voice. I think she’d be an amazing 3X winner. And it’d makeup for all of her industry snubs previously. I’m watching Southland now and DAMN!

Also, I dare anybody that reads this to watch the Aisha Hinds clip and tell em she’s not Emmy worthy.
