Hey Emmy fans! Like last year, I’ll be letting you know of mailers and events for Emmy voters.

FXX officially kicked off Emmy campaign season on Wednesday (1/11) by being first out of the gate and sending this FYC mailer for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. Will being first work the way it did for “UnReal?

I doubt that after so long this will make a differene. Maybe a surprise writing nomination but even that is super unlikely.

PaleyFest begins this weekend and Marcus and I will be covering some good shows here. So, since we can’t think of questions for everyone on the red carpet, I wanted to see if any of you Derbyites had any questions you’d like us to ask the stars? If you’ve got a good one, we’ll ask it and credit you – just leave them below for any/all of the following shows we’ll be covering:

    Saturday (3/18) “This Is Us”
    Sunday (3/19) “Grey’s Anatomy”
    Thursday (3/23) “Orphan Black”
    Saturday (3/25) “Westworld”
    Sunday (3/26) “Scandal”
Sunday (3/26) “American Horror Story: Roanoke”

I doubt she’ll say anything, but can you ask Adina Porter if she is planning on appearing in other Ryan Murphy projects. I will watch her do anything

I honestly they are both deserving but Friend is miles more deserving than them.

Question for anyone who is an Emmy member and goes to FYC events — I technically have an Associate membership, not an Active one, are they strict about only letting in Active memberships into the events?

As an associate member do you get the Academy FYC event invites? If not, then I assume it probably restricts your attendance as you have to RSVP to each event and they check you in at the door.

I’ve been able to RSVP on the website, but it has a note about this invite being for “Active” members. So I’m just surprised I am even able to RSVP.
