Ok I made my predictions! I’ve only seen two of the categories I voted for, so it should be interesting how I do compared to the other, far more savvy posters.

To all of our posters: If you already made your Emmy predictions, you can change things now that we know what episodes have been chosen by the actors to submit to judges.

I think the “Modern Family” supporting actress submissions help Julie Bowen a lot more than Sofia Vergara. Vergara picked “Slow Down Your Neighbors,” in which Bowen gets to be fanatical over a neighbor who drives too fast through the neighborhood. I think the episode description says Vergara’s storyline is learning how to ride a bike. I don’t remember it too well, but it doesn’t sound like one of the season’s more memorable storylines.

I fear Sofia Vergara went from frontrunner to also-ran with that submission, and Kristin Wiig’s choice of episode probably helps Jane Lynch repeat.

Interesting that Lynch and Colfer went with overtly emotional stroylines for their submissions. Will voters go for heartfelt over hilarious? I can’t see Colfer besting the very funny performances or Burrell or Stonestreet in his category.

Do we find out which episodes the reality/competition shows and variety shows submit?
