I have marathoned this atrocious season and this man has been the only saving grace of it. he own this season and gave the best performance by far. he has created a very memorable villain and I can’t wait to see what he does next (if he comes back for S5 that is). if he doesn’t get a nom it will the worst thing the Emmys did since they nominated Emilia Clarke for turning around and managing to say one line without looking like she’s having a seizure!
I have to agree with you on Finn Wittrock. I didn’t like this season as much as I have liked the past seasons but Finn was a strong presence and scene stealer. He would be very deserving of a nomination but unfortunately like Evan Peters in season one, he will be overlooked in favour of more well-known actors.
Not even kidding, coiuldn’t bring myself to finish the last 2 episodes.
But Finn Whittrock has been magnificent an truly was the ‘saving grace’ – I hope he gets some Emmy attention for the role of Dandy.
He had a great performance! I feel like he won’t be taken seriously, though, because of how bad the season was in general. I could see Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange not even getting noms simply because of the lack of quality. Maybe he has potential? He was in HBO’s TV movie The Normal Heart, which could help with Emmy voters since it won for TV movie.
I think Wittrock certainly deserves a nomination, however, his name recognition hurts him here. The only actors to be nominated for Horror Story have been the big names, not necessarily the best performers.
