“Episodes” seems like the perfect show to have hilarious guest stints from the rest of the “Friends”. Yet, in three seasons, only Gunther appeared… What’s up with that?

Lisa Kudrow’s Web Therapy had Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.

Jennifer Aniston appeared on Courteney Cox’s Dirt

Courteney Cox’s Cougar Town also had Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Jenifer Aniston

I’m really dying to see the rest of the cast playing fictionalized version of themselves. Do you think it’ll happen?

Maybe they’ll have a Friends reunion episode like Curb Your Enthusiasm had for Seinfeld.

Did you see Jimmy Kimmel’s Friends skit? — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4H2JHp5XOQ

That Kimmel skit was terrible, I thought. None of the ladies seemed to want to really be there, and they just seemed like old has-beens, which they kind of are. I find that all six of the Friends actors are considerably lower key than their character counterparts, which has always been a bit of a buzzkill.

And Courteney Cox appeared on Matthew Perry’s Go On.

I saw the name of this thread and I got really excited because I thought you made this thread was announcing that it was reported that they will reunite on the show, then I got really disapointed haha

I kinda find it weird that not even one of them has appeared. It’s not that they all hate LeBlanc, because he guest stared on Web Therapy.

Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.

If I recall correctly, there was a bit in Episodes’ first season where Matt tries to call everyone to get them to appear on Pucks!, with the joke being that they all apparently hate him in-universe and won’t do it. I suppose they still could appear to shit on LeBlanc, though.

Well, they did joke about that, when LeBlanc was trying to get one of them to guest star on Pucks!

I’m to bothered that none of them have shown up yet. Does anybody even know when Episodes shoots? Even LeBlanc must be confused about that schedule, maybe that has something to do with it.

Also, maybe the fact that they have to play themselves is making it hard for the Episodes writers to create the “character” and the storyline, because it’s not like you can write a simple character like an online gambler, the psycho therapist, the widow and all the characters they all have played on each other’s shows. And maybe they just don’t want to take the easy route of creating the “we hate Matt LeBlanc” storyline.

They kind of already created that storyline…
