A new trailer has been released for the second season. Looks like it will be another stunning and beautiful season.

It needs to be April right now. I can’t wait much longer.

I’ve been watching the reruns because I actually like this series, a LOT. It’s a great one, imo.

Absolutely. I did not read the book series before seeing the first season, and I liked the story so much that I’ve been reading the books to find out what happens next. I’m on Book 4 right now. And having read the books, I can say that Dinklage in particular will be getting even better material this season that he did last go ’round. If he competes in Supporting again (which he should), the race between him, Aaron Paul, and Giancarlo Esposito will be magnificent.

I love that the sellsword story plays so prominently in the trailer. It is one of those moments in the books that captures the exact point of the entire series.

Oh yeah, and HOLY CRAP I’m excited!

^How many books are there? I have been thinking about reading them for a while now.

I have five of them, but there should be a total of seven.

For those wondering, below are the seven titles in the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire”:

    1. A Game of Thrones
    2. A Clash of Kings
    3. A Storm of Swords
    4. A Feast for Crows
    5. A Dance with Dragons
    6. The Winds of Winter
    7. A Dream of Spring

If you’ve seen the first season of television, you could practically start with “A Clash of Kings” and get a head-start on the second season, which is what I did.

EDIT: “A Dance with Dragons” was just published. Author George R. R. Maritn is working on the last two books.

I’ve read the first three, but have deliberately put off reading the others, because I dont want to know; nor do I want to start comparing them to the series.
    Just a different reaction.

I usually feel the exact same way. I have yet to read a single Harry Potter book and, as much as it interests me, I refuse to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (or its sequels) until I see the films. I love being able to watch the adaptation without any prior knowledge of the material. I’m not quite sure why this series was appealing enough to me to make me want to read the novels, but it was.
