What season is considered the best season of Girlfriends to the worst season? What seasons do you think Tracee Ellis Ross deserved recognition from Emmys, Golden Globes, and SAGs?. What episodes she could have submitted if nominated for Emmys for the show?

Not particularly sure which episode Ross could’ve submitted but I know the episode where the lesbians have a water home birth was pretty memorable. It got a GLAAD award mention.

The best seasons were definitely the first few before Toni left the show. Once that happened the dynamic changed and the chemistry of the show had gone away.

The Best Season was Season 6. The Worst was season 8.

I feel that if she was nomited during the Third season, and submitted “Runaway Bridesmaid” she could’ve won that year

My sister LOVES this show. So I have seen most of the episodes and it definately deserved some Emmy attention in the first through 5th season. The others not so much.

It’s a shame shows like Girlfriends, Living Single, Martin, The Parkers, and even Fresh Prince failed to receive major EMMY consideration. They were just as good or better than most of the high profile series they nominated.

    I totally agree.

The shows you mentioned weren’t “white enough” or “too black” for Emmy consideration.

Fresh Prince might be one of the greatest snubbed sitcoms ever, I would even say it is tha “The Wire” of comedy.
