Move Maslany down a bit and it’s a solid list.

Pretty decent list overall – very drama heavy in general, and I am surprised to see Julia Louis Dreyfus so low at #20 (although the only pure comedy performances above her are by Zach Woods and Allison Janney).

Also surprised to see Harrelson above McConaughey; I would have expected the latter to place a lot higher on the list, behind probably Cranston and Gunn.

That’s a ridiculously high placement for Aaron Paul who didn’t come close to matching his peak performance/arc in seasons two and four. Rhys should be in the top five or six. There should be more comedic performances (Andy Daly, Gillian Jacobs, someone from Getting On, Louis CK). Tolmon was not that good. Danes should have listed. Lizzy Caplan and Christine Baranski should have been in there somewhere. At least there’s no HoC. Happy that we’re nearing the final go-round for the internet’s love affair with BB.

    – I was surprised Rhys placed that high, to be honest. If anyone deserves high placement, it’s Maslany.
    – Daly is in the HM section, and it is pretty Drama heavy but folks like: Mulgrew, Aduba, JLD, and Woods made it on there.
    – Tolman was top 5 material.
    – Danes listed at 20th.
    – Baranski didn’t get much support and Caplan is not that good.

Surprised by how low JLD and Danes are.

Aaron Paul is indeed too high. I am ecstatic that Zach Woods and Emmy Rossum made it on the list.

You are very hard to please. What are your top shows? Is that in a list thread somewhere? I’m curious. I know you haev Orphan Black #1 because you were such a big fan of this season, but what about the rest?

I know that was sarcasm, but not enough people on here watch the show or visit the thread. They might think it’s legit.

I do year end lists and end of the season fantasy Emmy lists. I decided to rank my performances here, because it’s a thread I started a couple of years ago, and I felt this list was… off. I ranked the shows I watched this season in order in that one thread (primarily to leave people in awe at how many shows I watched).

Marcus was the only one with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Billy Bob Thornton.  He respectively had them second and fourth.

Aaron Paul benefitted from exposure.  He made three of our top tens,
highest on Daniel’s at fifth.  I had him twelfth and Rob did not have
    him in his top twenty.

I was the only one of us five to have
Matthew Rhys in my top ten.  I had him fourth.  Rob had him sixteenth,
Daniel had him twentieth and Marcus did not provide his eleventh to
twentieth, but I think that he would have been in there somewhere.

I was the only one with Claire Danes or Andy Daly in my top ten or twenty.  I had Danes second and Daly ninth.

    Allison
Tolman only made two of our top tens, both in the seventh position, so
it is surprising that she is sixth in the aggregate.  She was also
fourteenth for Daniel.  Wait a minute, Ralph, you just said that Tolman
was top-five material, but you had her seventh.

    Daniel was the
only one to mention Caplan, but he had her in eleventh.  Rob was the
only one to mention Robin Wright and he had her twentieth.  No one had
Kevin Spacey, Gillian Jacobs, Getting On or Louis C.K.

Christine Baranski, really, Icky?  You have lost it, man!  Even Rob only had her in twelfth and no one else mentioned her.

ETA: Woah, woah, woah, Icky, you have her twenty-fourth!  You cannot call us out on not having her in our top twenty if you do not.  Caplan, Jacobs, C.K. and Getting On are also fair game, since you had them fifteenth or lower.

Got it. Just looked. Person of Interest #5 is a curveball I did not see coming. Some good stuff, some “you’re insane” stuff, but that’s a lot of TV on there. And I get it. I was waay off on Orphan for you. Thought I could read you, but I was wrong.

RChow: My list changed quite a bit after I binged Hannibal/Veep/etc. Tolman went up, Freeman only down by 1 and a few other swaps.

Icky what the hell is this?
