The Gold Derby predictions center event for television at the Golden Globes is now open the earliest it’s ever been. Make your 2018 picks today for all 11 TV categories! We know there will at least be new winners in some categories as Best Comedy Series champ “Atlanta” and its star Donald Glover are not eligible this time. Will Hollywood Foreign Press Association voters finally want to honor “Will and Grace” after never giving it one single award in the past? These are just some of the stories we are following, so we need your predictions now.

Change later as often as you like until nominations day on December 11 for the 75th annual ceremony. It’s important for you to share your early opinions so that they impact our initial racetrack odds, which are used by all users to wager against while competing for best accuracy score. If you make — and keep — early predictions, you’ll be able to lock in favorable odds. Read contest rules.

    Hi Chris.

Could you please add Yvonne Strahovski to the prediction center for the Handmaid’s Tale? Many of us believe she’s going to get nominated.

I thought that we were going to have to wait another few weeks, so thanks for the early start, Chris!

UnReal isn’t airing any new episodes in 2017, so Appleby and Zimmer shouldn’t be there. And has it been confirmed that Goliath will have new episodes this year? Mostly, please add the supporting performers in The Crown, as I suspect that the HFPA will find some of them appealing enough to nominate, as well as Zoe Kravitz, as that’s my bold prediction that I also really hope comes to pass!

I’m predicting American Gods for series and McShane for lead actor since the globes seem to be the only ones who like Starz, this seems like something they would go for.

If it wasn’t for that cancer I’d be so predicting Debra Messing to win but because HFPA has already done it with Michael C. Hall once they’re gonna repeat themselves with JLD this year. And before you start throwing rocks at me, deep down you know I’m right.

I mentioned this in the SAG thread too where now Dreyfus will win easily. At the Globes is trickier. Although she hasn’t won yet which helps. Like Poehler’s “just because you’re hosting” win, it could happen.

But in Hall’s case, if you look at the history of those years, it was sort of his turn to win both awards anyway. Cancer surely helped. But predicing him back then wouldn’t have been hard without his cancer diagnosis. In Dreyfus case at the Globes, I believe she never would’ve won for Veep. This changes things, but more with SAG than here. She could still loose or not be nominated at all.

I didn’t know that The Golden Globes combines drama/comedy for supporting actress/actor category. With that being said, Yvonne should definitely get a nomination for The Handmaid’s Tale.  I’m really rooting for Queen Sugar to get a nomination.

Golden Globe voting ended (January 12) before Michael C. Hall’s cancer diagnosis was announced (January 13).

i´m predicting Billie Lourd will be nominated for American Horror Story.

I just can’t with these Billie Lourd predictions. What’s the rationale behind them suddenly nominating a performer from AHS again?

They love Legacies. Riley Keough, Tracey Ellis Ross. She is the daughter of Carrie Fisher and grand daughter of Debbie Reynolds shortly after they did. It would be a way to honor them. I honestly wouldn’t count out supporting nomination for Fisher for Catastrophe that would be entirely a namecheck. Also, the globes might want to get in on the anti Trump train, and AHS: Cult is certainly a part of that.

I am not predicting Lourd but she makes total sense.
