    Hey all,

Which episodes did the actors in the guest acting categories submit? I know this info is out, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Help!

Even though Janney was spectacular in her arc, I’m hoping Kate Burton takes Drama Guest Actress. She did some awesome scenery chewing in this past season of Scandal, particulalry in the episode, “Door Marked Exit.”

Why Nathan Lane don’t submit both of The Wedding episodes? That’s eligible right, considering the part 1 and part 2 in the title?

Shirley McLaine didn’t get in but that dull as ditchwater and pointless character and performance of Paul Giamatti got in?

    Hmmmm….

I just watched the Orange ladies tapes.

I really don’t see how frontrunner Uzo can win unless they ignore tapes.

Cox and Uzo share the same tape and Cox has far more screen time and impact.  Uzo has a couple of funny scenes but nothing too great.  And Uzo and Cox have little if anything to do in Lyonne’s tape.  Lyonne is very good and would get my vote of the 3.

I think Uzo’s screen time is a non factor. She’s been the breakout star, sans Taylor, and perhaps even that could be debated since the show had it’s breakout moment. Her comic relief and chemistry with Taylor was impeccable in “Lesbian Request Denied”.

It still blows my mind that Steve Buscemi made it in for Portlandia. His role was hilarious, but I thought there was no way in hell we was going to get in.

If they watch all the tapes, I think Joan Cusack has it. She has a ton of screen time in “Liver, I hardly Knew Her” and has been nominated three times before. Uzo is a favorite because everyone loves her character but her tape mostly highlights Laverne Cox’s character. I think Uzo and Laverne are probably going to split the votes, leaving Joan Cusack or Natasha Lyonne to win.

If they vote based strictly on tape, which I highly doubt they will, then it would be kind of awkward if Uzo Aduba wins for Laverne Cox’s showcase episode. I get why Netflix submitted that episode for Aduba, she has some good moments in it.  Natasha Lyonne is good and people, i think, are underestimating her. Cusack survived the shift to the comedy, and this is her 4th time – they could randomly throw it to her this year for all we know.Tina Fey is Tina Fey. I think this award could go to any of them, excluding McCarthy.

Submissions will give Cox the win. She has the screentime (in a 1 hour episode as opposed to others), the impact and the performance. The only thing working against her and helping Aduba is that Cox´s performance is dramatic and Aduba´s is straight up comedy.

I´d be happy if Lyonne pulled an upset.
