Hahn or Light: Who would you vote for?

I wanted to see if vote splitting is a factor for these two. Which one would you vote for, don’t vote for who think will win, vote for your favorite of the two.

I love Hahn, but I would go with Light easily. I am pretty sure Light will win this poll but I wanted to make sure.

Hahn would have a good shot on the preferential ballot because she would be a lot of people’s #2.

This is a good idea to kind of gauge opinion. We should probably do this for all categories where we are confused about vote splitting.

I voted for Light because, as much as I loved Hahn, I was completely blown away by Light this season. If tapes mattered, Exciting and New would be one for the ages.

I just wanted to clarify my vote, which was for Hahn. I thought both performances were good BUT *extremely unpopular opinion* I thought Light didn’t have much to do in Transparent last season. I know everyone feels the exact opposite way. But please try to be objective: beside that great finale, she felt very irrelevant through all the season.
SO, I voted for Hahn, whose presence felt much more interesting and intense during this run (the acting in itself is very good for both); and to be precise, these are the only two people I know in that category (I don’t watch SNL nor Veep). I would have definitely chosen other performances (es. Zazie Beetz or Kether Donohue) over them.

I am very shocked by how close this is so far. I thought Light would be winning by a landslide. “Emmy winner Kathryn Hahn” would sound absolutely amazing. She’s my second favorite actor of all time.

THAT is why I think if Transparent does win Supporting Actress, Kathryn Hahn will win, even though Judith Light has been nominated before.

Light had the baitiest scene of the season, but Hahn does so much more with the little she gets (and rescues pathetic writing– that stupid sex scene!).

I am surprised this is close. I thought Light was just a huge standout in every scene she was in. Hahn was great too, but I didn’t really like a lot of her storylines and I sort of wish Hoffmann had gotten nominated over her.
