If the voters aren’t over Boardwalk Empire and they watch their FYC tapes, I am hoping they won’t deny them a second nod for drama series. The second one in particular is a killer!

Game of Thrones submits nearly all of the ladies and 4 of the men. Notable is that none of the new cast members are being submitted. Good that they are all in supporting. Dinklage, Harington, Clarke, Fairley, and Headey are submitted again, with Allen, Madden, Turner, and Williams joining them. It looks like Dinklage will be GoT’s sole acting nominee again. Maybe Allen can get in if his buzz swells, or Clarke or Headey make Supporting Actress.

Wow, “Enlightened” didn’t send “Consider Helen” or the finale? Big mistake…

I wonder how they decided who they were going to summit for supporting actor for Game of Thrones. I guess they couldn’t summit all of them because it would be too many and it would be harder to get any one person a nomination.

J.B. Smoove is in supporting actor.

I see why they did that; I do not know that I agree.

Hopefully, he gets regular status if they do another season?

HBO is usually a dominant force in the longform field, so it’s really weird to see only two projects in the tv movie/miniseries category. I guess they had to cut back in order to focus on series programming. They have eleven shows competing for comedy series! That must be a record for them.

This box set seems really nice and expensive. I wonder how much it costs to send it to 15,000 members of the Academy.
