So the comedy actor roundtable was not good. The first 15 minutes were cringeworthy. I love Anthony Anderson on Black-ish, I’m a huge Stan, but he was absolutely annoying on this roundtable. And what was with him and Brian Tyree Henry? Henry was so annoyed by him it was hilarious. Anthony Anderson and Kevin Bacon were being children. Really Kevin Bacon? You start off the table with fart jokes. I loved how at the end when they asked if the beginning could be edited out the moderator straight up said no. Henry seemed very arrogant and a bit annoying. I love them all as actors but that roundtable was… yikes.

What was with Ted Danson? He seemed so nervous. The dude is a legend and he seemed scared to talk.

once the show went on it got better. Kumail Nanjiani and William H. Macy were easily the MVPs. I hope they come back the next year.

I normally like that moderater but she seemed soooo nervous. She always has a lot of “uh huh”s, “yeah”s and “hmmm”s but it was so much.

If you watch this the second half is great but the first half is just them embarrassing themselves.

I watched Henry, Anderson & Legend Macy’s videos and Anderson lowkey seemed jealous at Atlanta’s success. Macy was hilarious and very eloquent.

Could have done better in comedy actress, they’re all great, but it’s also very possible not a single one of them will actually get nominated.

I like it better when they have the dark horse. These would be so boring if it was only with actors that are locked. I loved that they had Melissa Rosenberg on the roundtable last year

The comedy actress round table was so much better. They were all hilarious. I NEED Emmy to get nominated. Great round table. They were all interesting and I wanted more. Issa didn’t talk enough though. Also interesting it was only leads. I’m surprised that Amazon didn’t try to get Olivia Coleman on the round table since Waller-Bridge was on the showrunner round table.

I actually liked the actors a lot more. They seemed to be actually having a good time and we’re more entertaining, the women just complained about how difficult it is to be a woman.

Those are the only questions they ever ask them about unfortunately. I can hear the moderators voice in my head as I’m typing this: “What’s the most overtly sexist act you’ve ever experience at your job?” or something like that. I understand that sexism is a big and real issue but asking the same questions to actresses year after year accomplished nothing. After a while you’d think that the moderators would get tired of asking these types of questions and the actresses would get tired of answering them.
