Which is why I’m actually looking forward to it. That makes me sound like a bad person, doesn’t it? But now that they’re gone, I’m really curious what the show can do without that silly romantic crap between Carrie & Brody… and the tedious Brody family. Now that Carrie is Station Chief in Kabul, it might get interesting. I miss Mandy Patinkin, too.

Corey Stoll is in it now? I can’t wait to see how much he is in it, because he was great in HoC, and recently, I liked him in This is where I leave you. I’m also happy that we’re moving past Brody’s family, but I think there needs to be something other than the CIA and Carrie/Saul plots.

I’ll miss Damian Brody, but the rest of the Brodys? Good riddance.

Claire Danes looks amazing in the previews for the premiere. Maybe she can submit both episodes next year.

Based on an interview with Gansa and the reviews, season 4 is going to spend a lot of time with the Suraj Sharma character.

^Ok, I read a little more about his character, and that sounds like it could be interesting. I’ll be interested to see if Life of Pi was just a fluke or if he can actually be a great actor.

The reviews for the show have been mixed with a few saying there is improvement but after two disappointing seasons it’s pretty clear to me the writers do not know what is working about the show especially when they have a central character like Carrie who is so unpredictable and really just ruins the show. I will be hate watching the show once again but I’m not expecting much outside of seeing Corey Stoll without the stupid Strain hair (another show I hate watch).

I just can’t hate watch a show that I once really liked (“Hate watching” doesn’t do much for me anyways). The most disappointing aspect of the last couple of seasons, and there are many, is how the writers have destroyed a potentially great, iconic character by devolving Carrie into simply and only a crazy woman in love. Maybe with Brody gone something else can become of her. But I doubt it.

If Carrie gets pregnant by Quinn, that wooshing sound you’d hear will be viewers, rushing for the exits, en masse. I’ll be leading the pack.

So is S4 a reboot like Community was in Season 5 and Scrubs was in Season 9? Because I gave up on Homeland in season 2 and I don’t wanna rewatch it again

Given the character arc that’s been hinted at,  this sounds like potentially quite a good role for him.

Episodes Titles: “The Drone Queen”; “Trylon & Perisphere

Synopses: Carrie makes a critical decision; Saul struggles to adjust to his new
role; Quinn spirals out of control; new information is revealed.

Oh! Yay! I loved her in season 3, and hadn’t heard if she would be back or not. Happy to see she will be sticking around, AND full-time.

So not going to lie, I am beyond excited for this season. Plus, I am hoping Patankin will get some really juicy material and get that Emmy!
