I was exactly 70.00% accurate this time. Not bad 🙂 What did you get?
Oh and if you don’t know how to check:
1. Go to your profile
2. On the left of the screen click “Emmy Awards nominations 2013.
3. Your percentage will be on top of the screen.July 18, 2013 at 6:24 pm #287848
71%. Actually kind of surprised by that, given how many surprises there were. Going 500 on Variety really paid off with my final point tally.
2 out of 6 on Supporting Actor in a Comedy – one of which was Bill Hader. That was so odd to look at.July 18, 2013 at 6:25 pm #287849
Same here, exactly 70%. I’m also really glad my 500 bet was on Drama Series.July 18, 2013 at 6:26 pm #287850
71%, which is ok I guess, considering the best was 75% I think. That’s pretty low too, a testament to how unpredictable these things are.July 18, 2013 at 6:30 pm #287851
65%. I’m better at picking winners anyway.July 18, 2013 at 6:30 pm #287852
I got 73%, which I am incredibly happy with. I wanted to best my 67% from last year, but I never expected that I would do so. I put the 500 on Variety (6/6), which paid off huge. I also came in 17th place amongst users, which completely astounds me.
I really don’t watch many of the TV shows that were nominated. I think that helps with my predictions, however. When I haven’t watched many of the shows, I don’t have a bias in predicting them. I have an objective outlook, and only use facts (and the occassional hunch).July 18, 2013 at 6:35 pm #287853
I got 68% which I was feeling pretty good about until I came to this thread haha. I, too, bet 500 on drama series.
I wonder if anyone on this site predicted some of the crazier categories like drama lead actress or supporting actress comedy.
Did anyone even have Dern in?July 18, 2013 at 6:37 pm #287854
I got 5/7 in Comedy Supporting Actress (I didn’t have Lynch or Chlumsky in).July 18, 2013 at 6:41 pm #287855
I got 71. I’m ranked 689th.
I only recognize 1 out of the Top 10 names with highest scores. I don’t know who any of the other people are and I’ve never seen them around here either…..I recognize 3 names in the Top50.July 18, 2013 at 6:48 pm #287856
I got 70% also. Last year, I was number 1 among the users. This year…I did so bad in the ranking. I put too much faith into The Americans (Series, Actor, Actress) and New Girl (Actor, Actress, Sup. Actor) among other things, and underestimated House of Cards and The Bible.
Otherwise, I’m not too upset with my predictions. I mean…NO ONE saw that Margulies’s snub coming, so…July 18, 2013 at 6:54 pm #287857
67%, 705th…not too bad I guess, but I noly got 6/6 in Drama Series (comedy&drama categories).July 18, 2013 at 6:59 pm #287858
70% and 624th. I really shot myself in the foot by taking out Louie for AD and Hale for Helberg at the last minute.July 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm #287859
In categories where there were more numerically in nominations than what is allotted in the predictions center … does those count against us? To put it bluntly: In any category where nominations were expected to number no greater than six, who in hell should be penalized for when there emerges a seventh nominee? (Which, of course, is the case with quite a few categories.)July 18, 2013 at 7:00 pm #287860
My 6/6 came only on Reality Competition and variety Series, the easiest categories to predict. I got 5/6 in both Drama Series and Comedy Series, because I thought The Americans and New Girl would do better and surprise.
