I was thinking about how the race this year would be if the category, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie was still around. To be real, I think the only two programs with a shot of winning are The Normal Heart and Fargo. And The Normal Heart would take the prize (even though Fargo should). Who do you think would win?
If you don’t think either of them would win, explain who you think will win.
Give Paul Thomas Anderson an Oscar.
The Normal Heart juggernaut would simply be too great to overcome, I’m afraid. It would win a la Game Change and Behind the Candelabra.
Yeah The Normal Heart still would have it. I think the Emmys like to cry more than be thrilled
I disagree with The Normal Heart winning. Fargo would take top price and that is FINAL!
The wrtiing for Fargo is superb, the directions are well ordered and the actors (especially Martin Freeman and Alison Tolman) are great performers.
The Normal Heart is just too overrated although it’s a great film. But Fargo‘s episodes are so well structered and well-received.
