Hopefully this can make an Emmy break through. Brown would be an easy guest nomination.July 20, 2017 at 3:02 pm #1202159953
93 on Metacritic with 6 reviews. Its lowest grade is a 90. Last year when it had 6 reviews it has a score of 87 with a low score of 80. By then end it dropped three points to an 84 with a low score of 80.July 20, 2017 at 3:06 pm #1202159960
Can’t wait for this! Show those Emmy voters how foolish they really are, Issa!July 20, 2017 at 3:09 pm #1202159963
Penciling in Sterling K. Brown now. This season is going to be massive in the ratings compared to last season, leading out of Game of Thrones and Ballers instead of Divorce.
Check out my interviews with Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji:

I was worried Lawrence wouldn’t be back since he and Issa broke up, but one of the reviews mentioned him so it looks like he is. Jay Ellis was fantastic last year. He deserves some emmy attention.July 20, 2017 at 3:27 pm #1202159971
He sure did, Pulp50. He really shined, in more ways than one. lolJuly 20, 2017 at 3:37 pm #1202159978
I have feeling that Brown will also guest on season 2 of Better Things, and unless he’s amazing on Insecure, I have a feeling that is what he will be pushed for considering Adlon got nominated. I am only guessing he will be in Better Things because he is basically in love with Adlon.July 20, 2017 at 5:48 pm #1202160024
To be honest Sunday’s for me aren’t about Game of Thrones anymore. Sunday’s are all about Insecure for me now. I can’t wait.July 20, 2017 at 6:19 pm #1202160043

Flashforward one week:
To be honest Sunday’s for me aren’t about Insecure anymore. Sunday’s are all about Rick and Morty for me now. I can’t wait.July 20, 2017 at 6:19 pm #1202160044
Sundays have never just been about GOT for me, but that’s definitely what I’m most excited for. Insecure with it is great though. Too bad Ballers is in between.July 21, 2017 at 6:00 pm #1202161189
Another rave, he gives it a 90 on Metacritic bringing the score to 92 with 9 critics.
With high profile guest stars (Sterling K. Brown), a potential huge growth in ratings, and a huge increase in critical praise, is it possible that Insecure could breakthrough significantly at the Emmys next year?July 21, 2017 at 6:10 pm #1202161193
I will try to watch the entire season this weekend before the premiere. I already the first two episodes last year and I remember that I liked.July 21, 2017 at 6:13 pm #1202161194
I’m currently predicting:
Guest ActorJuly 21, 2017 at 6:31 pm #1202161203
I’m currently predicting: Series Actress Writing Supporting Actress Guest Actor
That’s stretching it for a show that was completely shut out its first year.
Everybody Loves Raymond was completely shut out its first two years and for its third season it got nominations for Series, Directing, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Lead Actor, and Lead Actress. It eventually won comedy series for seasons 7 and 9.
