Really liked this one! Bobby Cannavale was great and featured more than I thought he would be. I’d expect him to have a better shot at Guest Actor as a former winner than never-nodded Nick Offerman. Eric McCormack was also at his best so far. I agree that this is a submission tape possibility for him. Also thought that Sean Hayes lit up this episode with his B-storyline with the newly deflowered gay cop lol. I’m this close to predicting him for SAG in Male Comedy Actor. Not that much for Messing or Mullally here (the scavenger hunt scenes were beneath her), but both had nice showcases in prior episodes, at least.

I was in the audience for this episode. And it’s amazing how beautifully everything came together. The audience enthusiasm when Cannavale showed up was off the charts– we had no idea he was going to be on the show.

McCormack did that toast scene three or four times, and just slayed it every single time!

Meh. Things are not going great. They’re still writing like it’s the early 2000s. It becomes tiresome. Some scenes were way too silly. And did Mullally twist an ankle or something? Why was she wasted sitting on a table for the whole episode? She got absolutely nothing to do here.

    Cannavale was great.

Sean Hayes and Bobby Cannavale were good. Eric McCormack was at his best. Debra Messing was just there. I wish Megan Mullually had more to do.

This ‘revival’ needs to stop revisiting the past and start making moves towards the future, or at the very least, THE PRESENT?!?! What happened to Grace’s assistant? What projects are Will & Grace working on? What is going on with Karen’s love life? And don’t just tell us in an off-the-cuff quip, SHOW US!

This is feeling more and more like a wasted opportunity with every episode. Cameos are welcome, but entire episodes built around a guest star, no matter how beloved and talented (not looking at you J.Lo), is not what will bring a new audience to this show, much less please the faithful viewers of nearly twenty years.

I’m a bit late to the party but can we please have Molly Shannon on like every week? She was AMAZING!

I love Robert Klein but I am fucking mad he’s going to play Grace’s dad. If Alan Arkin was unable to return, they should have scrapped the whole storyline with Grace’s dad and do something else instead. Why bother bringing past characters if they’re played by different actors? Honestly I think I’m done with this show. They should have done one episode retconning that stupid series finale and put it to rest.

I am. I hate when shows I really like cast the same actors in different roles or different actors playing the same role. It’s my pet peeve. I gave up watching many shows because of it. And this show is found guilty on both charges. Episode ten was my last episode. They can cancel it for all I care.

I was in my twenties then (and still didn’t like it honestly). When people are in their twenties they’re quite stupid and don’t get mind that much most things. And for fuck’s sake, when did you become thedemondog 2.0!? I don’t like this new bitchy hunter. Because it’s not bitchy in fun way.
