Watched the pilot, much more than I expected, a case must be made for Hickey and Williams, both are very strong in this and so is Zukerman. The cinematography is great and the directing was also good. Critics are comparing it a lot to mad men for being a period piece. I hope they can keep this pace for the rest of the season, huge potential here.August 1, 2014 at 7:41 am #326082

Episode 8 was a landmark to this show, everything that was built so far in the season paid out here on this episode, fantastic stuff.
I don’t know if anyone is watching this but with 5 episodes left for the end of season 1, the show is such a pleasant surprise and everyweek I can’t wait for the next episode!September 17, 2014 at 10:54 am #326092
I am watching the show and sometimes I forget about the show just because it’s on a Sunday and that is such a busy night for tv. I like the show alot and I feel while I still do not remember anybody’s name I like most of the characters. The show is good but not forgettable.September 21, 2014 at 4:39 pm #326093
Episode 9: Spooky Action at a Distance
Frank and Charlie hatch a plan.September 23, 2014 at 3:57 pm #326094
The mushroom scenes were great, it was pretty obviously though how it would end. Curious to know what the payout of Frank’s spy is going to be. And that ending, I really thought they weren’t going for the radiation poisoning, at least not on this season.
The fate of the show is still unsure , last episode marked 0.425 mil viewers with 0.09 on the demo with a raise of 28.57% from episode 8’s demo and a raise of 40.26% in viewers comparing with episode 8.
WGN has renewed Salem but is insure about Manhattan, the pilot got almost 1 million viewers and 0.20 in raitings but the stabilized at 0.4 to 0.3.
