A+ episode.November 30, 2017 at 9:55 am #1202425617
I must be out of step on this one. I thought it was sloppy, unfocused, and pointless. The only time I laughed was the “Santa Claus” line.December 2, 2017 at 1:24 pm #1202427516
This week’s episode was absolutely hysterical. By far the best of the season and all the storylines were pretty equally funny.December 12, 2017 at 7:07 pm #1202438298
“Tough Love” was another funny episode. The Cam/Mitchell parts were my favorite. I loved the beginning when Mitch said their contractor found a doll in the vent and they said the doll was for a high risk teen getting pregnant and cut to Haley talking about babysitting Lily and throwing a party and putting a doll in the vent. I also enjoyed Cam talking to his detention students and Luke/Gloria were watching it streamed. The drug bust scenes were great, too. I liked the Jay/Manny talk. The Phil/Claire stuff was ok, but I loved their ending. It was sweet. Joe still gets the best lines.
I’m wondering if Phil will start his own real estate business, join another agency or actually work at his majic shop?December 12, 2017 at 7:14 pm #1202438300
James Van Der Beek guest stars on tmrws episode.
I feel like MF hasn’t had as many breaks as years past. I think tmrws is their 10 or 11 episode so far.December 13, 2017 at 6:43 pm #1202439771
“No Small Feet” was an ok episode. I liked the Luke/Alex story the best. The Cam/Mitch/Pam story was also entertaining with Bo coming into town. The Gloria/Phil story wasn’t good and I normally like it when they share scenes.
New episodes return in 2018!December 14, 2017 at 5:21 am #1202440067
Yeah I kinda loved that episode. James Van DerBeek (Dawson’s Creek blast from the past lol) was awesome. Emmy nomination could happen I think. Stonestreet and JTF were the real scene stealers for me this round though. My grade: A+December 14, 2017 at 7:12 am #1202440228
I feel like we’ve been to the Jay feels marginalized/Claire feels underappreciated well too many times now.
The Luke/Alex thing had real possibilities but wasn’t developed. It could have been an A story in some other episode.December 14, 2017 at 7:29 am #1202440242
This season is dull.
Children have become annoying.Phil is the only bright spotJanuary 3, 2018 at 6:41 pm #1202454993
“He said, She shed”, was an okay episode. Not bad, not really funny either. Joe was the best part, especially when he yelled into the golf bag and at the end when he was playing hide and seek with Jay. Manny’s ribbon dance at end and Gloria’s expression was good, too.January 3, 2018 at 6:45 pm #1202454997
As much as I love MF, one thing that bugs me is the re-writing of characters back stories. In season 7, Lily’s bday was in Feb, this year it’s in Jan.
Phil and Claire have celebrated their anniversaries in different months, too.January 4, 2018 at 8:16 am #1202455529
I hated this episode except for Joe playing golf. My grade: CJanuary 4, 2018 at 8:45 pm #1202456295
Mira Sorvino is guest starring in the Jan 17 episode of MF.January 10, 2018 at 7:24 pm #1202463799
“Dear Beloved Family” was a let down for their 200th episode. The best part was when Hailey was joking about Alex being on a date, then it showed Alex feeding the stray cats. Joe was great again. It’s odd the 5 year old gets the best material. The ending scene with Hailey, Alex and Luke was great too.
Fred Savage was good as Caleb, but I didn’t care for the Mitch/Cam story. I’m hoping the rest of the season gets better.
