I’ve always wanted to make my own TV awards, and after everyone on here started to make their own TV awards I thought I’d join in on the fun. My award show basically has the same catagories as the Emmys do. The only difference is, I have 2 seperate catagories for Variety performers. The first one is Outstanding Performance by A Regular Actor In A Variety Series, which covers Stewart and Colbert, the SNL guys, and the talk show hosts. The second one is Outstanding Performance in A Variety Special/Special Class Program, which covers all your award show hosts, and your stand up comedians for there HBO specials. I also don’t include writing and directing catagories, I simply just have Outstanding Drama Episode and Comedy Episode. In addition to that, I have Outstanding Performance By A Drama Ensemble, Comedy Ensemble, and Movie/Mini Ensemble. Finally, I also have a category for Outstanding New Program

Each program category has seven nominees. Every other category only has six.

Why is True Detective in Best Drama when it is an anthrology and the other anthrologies (American Horror Story and Fargo) are in the mini-series category? In addition, True Detective has only eight episodes while AHS: Coven and Fargo has 13 and 10 episodes, respectively.

I love your award but those are my biggest concers.

Well, I just nominate shows/people in the categories that they submitted at The Emmys
