I’m shocked to see that the most of you are picking the Jane The Virgin girl to win the Golden Globe for Best Comedy Actress. Huh what? This is not an Ugly Betty situation. Am I the only one who’s going with Schilling (with Louis-Dreyfus a close second?). I feel like OiTNB can sweep and they already have Best Comedy and Best Supporting Actress locked so why not Schlling so they could complete the sweep?

Also am I the only one who’s predicting Mark Ruffalo to win over McConaughey? Double nominee factor + being in a TV movie that is right up HFPA’s alley. Plus Matthew won last year. His buzz is kinda dead now… I don’t know.

These are my ballsiest predictions. Comment on these and share your own!

Billy Bob Thorton. For some reason I don’t see McConaughey winning.

And I know this won’t happen in a million years but I have Jenny winning the Globe for Cake because I would get some massive bonus points for calling that one. It’s likely to go to Moore or Witherspoon.

I have a feeling Maggie Gyllenhaal could take actress. They nominated her twice before for smaller indies and her performance is amazing.

Rosamund Pike winning Best Actress, Jake Gyllenhaal for Best Actor, Emma Stone for Best Supporting Actress, and Mark Ruffalo for Best TV Actor if not Best Supporting Actor. There could be a True Detective vote split that causes Ruffalo to take it.

Yes that’s another longshot I have as well. You gotta predict shockers or else you won’t win the contest. And after seeing her get a SAG nomination I think it’s quite possible that she could win.

And I have one more I want to share which is Norton. I know again this is a big risk. But I can see Norton winning this making him noticed by at least one televised ceremony.

    Nice touch there.

Is Allison Janney considered an upset? I’m seeing a lot of love for Uzo Aduba and Kathy Bates.

And let’s not forget that Elisabeth Moss won last year in the same category for a Sundance show (“Top of the Lake”) like Maggie Gyllenhaal is for “The Honourable Woman.” So the Globes are not a stranger to awarding the network.

While I also have Transparent winning Series, Janney winning, and Ruffalo winning. In addition, I also have The Good Wife winning in Series. No Guts, No Glory right?

Transparent winning Series, JLD winning Actress (at this point is much more of wishful thinking than anything else – plus, big bonus points for me if I’m right), The Good Wife winning Series, Lange winning Minisseries Actress. I’m feeling wild this year.
