Annalise Keating was back in top form in the courtroom, even if she did lose Laurel’s custody battle. Glynn Turman was excellent! He is looking to likely becoming the first male outstanding guest drama acting nominee for the show. Loved the twist with Laurel’s mother in the last scene.

Ok so this episode wasn’t my favorite because I could just tell that something was up with Laurel’s mom.Saying that, I liked everything else. My grade: AFebruary 2, 2018 at 6:29 pm #1202486237
I’m loving the fact that emmy-winner Glynn Turman is playing Nate’s father. So, now we’ll get some more backstory on him. I need for Annalise to get some money so she can get out of that damn hotel. LBVS
Ms. Pratt annoys me to no end. I should’ve known Laurel’s mama wasn’t right.

Ok, so where are they going with Nate’s father entering the picture? I guess he will be instrumental in helping AK win the law suit? Dead at Nate still trying to get some from AK after everything they’ve been through.
Don’t like Laurel’s mom at all, but I like her introduction to the show. Laurel’s father is also hella annoying. I sure hope they wrap this up by season’s end, and we’re not subjected to him as much next season.

WOW! So, uh, it looks like Kobe Bryant will appear in the season finale of How to Get Away with Murder….February 5, 2018 at 6:41 pm #1202488175
I love Kobe. But damn that’s random. LOLFebruary 8, 2018 at 5:24 am #1202489893
The title of tonight’s episode is, “ASK HIM ABOUT STELLA”.
Episode Description: Annalise deals with an unforeseen issue after damaging details about a key witness are exposed in her case to help Laurel. Meanwhile, the “K4” continue their efforts to help build a case for Annalise’s class action lawsuit.
Who THINKS they’re ready??February 8, 2018 at 8:20 pm #1202490415
Now, this is was favorite from the back episodes! Viola & Jimmy were what emmys are given. The supporting player really have impressed me, and Karla was the absolute standout! Special mentions to Liza Weil, Glynn Turman, and yes, Billy Brown! Loved the final scene, and that’s all i’ll say who those who might slide in this thread, who haven’t seen it. They’ve really handled this season. I can’t believe there will be another break until 3/1 this time. WOW!

This episode…….ok so I still don’t trust Laurel’s Mom. Also, I love love love love love that the group is all back together and Conner is going back to law school! My grade: A+February 9, 2018 at 6:47 pm #1202491037
So, Laurel’s mom cannot be trusted. Great scene with Karla/Laurel meeting her beautiful baby! Freakin loved Viola & Jimmy in their acting tennis match, hitting the ball back and forth to one another! What great partners! I hope they don’t go the romance route AT ALL with them. They would be toxic for each other. Glynn Turman is really building a case for himself, (no pun intended), for a Guest Actor-Drama nomination.

Wes better not be alive. Thank God they spared Tegan’s life.February 11, 2018 at 6:43 pm #1202492028
Will Jimmy Smits be submitted in supporting? If so, he is deserving of a nomination.
Viola for lead Actress
Jimmy Smits for Supporting Actor
Liza Weil for Supporting Actress
Cicely Tyson for Guest Actress
Glynn Turman for Guest ActorFebruary 11, 2018 at 7:13 pm #1202492056
At this point, Jimmy would have to be submitted in supporting, as unless the rules have changed again, he has exceeded the amount of episodes to be submitted for guest actor. But, @emmyfan, I agree, all of those you mentioned should be emmy-nominated for the show this season. The only one i’d sadly classify as a longshot, is Liza Weil.
Which episode, though, would you submit for Viola, at this point?February 11, 2018 at 8:09 pm #1202492101
There are several options for Viola:
– 4×02 The big courtroom scene where she defends Jasmine and talks about the rigged justice system
– 4×06 Where she has her breakdown in front of Roa and confronts Denver
– 4×08 “Live. Live. Live.” Need I say more?
– 4×12 That scene with Jimmy was just mind-blowing.
Personally, I fear she will be snubbed because Mandy Moore (deservedly) is gaining a lot of buzz for TIU! Fingers crossed that Viola makes it though. I will wait until the end of the season to choose the episode I think she should submit.February 12, 2018 at 5:42 am #1202492343
With ratings dropping and Scandal already ending, is there any chance that How to Get Away with Murder just won’t return for season 5? TGIT shows have received renewal notices early the last couple of years, but I can see this being on the bubble until ABC sees how Station 19 and For the People perform.
