All she has to do is connect the dots between Wes, his murdered father, and Annalise. Get in contact with the next of kin and arrange for his murder at Anna’s house to jeopardize her as a murder suspect.

I didn’t even realize it’s been on again. This time the break went away very easily, certainly in part due to exposure of Viola Davis and “Fences”.

Very well done return from winter break episode. No big WOW moments, they let subtlety take the reign. Poor Annalise. I hate to see her in jail. Ironically, she’s one of the only ones who hasn’t literally killed anyone. lol Loved the jail scenes. Viola had little dialogue in many of them. But she told everything through those dark eyes of hers. Supporting cast, sans Alfie continues to grow.

Holy damn, that was an intense episode but oddly enough my fav part was Michaela and Wes. A+

This was a very different vibe of an episode for them, and it was certainly for the better. Acting was superb!

The pacing, the writing, and acting took the front seat, and they didn’t focus on any huge WOW moments or cliff hangers, which made it that much more interesting, coming from them. The two actresses playing Annalise’s cell mates were superb counterparts for her. I really hope they stick around for a few episodes.

I didn’t expect it to be so subtle. I also thought they were going to reveal right away who Wes’ killer was in the return episode. Give me more. Favorite parts: Wes and Matt flashback, Michaela & Wes flashback and he and Annalise’s. I promise, he is the son she was never able to carry to full term. Viola & Liza were the acting MVP’s in the episode without a doubt!

One of them was L. Scott Caldwell whom you might all remember as stoic Rose from “Lost”. She was great and I hope for some good material for her in the future episodes.

Oh, you’re right Jake. I do remember her now. I’ve seen her in a number of things, but I didn’t know her name. I can’t believe I just realized the other one was Yolonda Ross, who played with Vee in Lila & Eve. They were great. It doesn’t appear as though Annalise will be getting out of jail anytime soon, so hopefully, they’ll be around for at least the next 3 to 5 episodes.

    ABC/MITCH HAASETH; DEBORAH LOPEZ
Atlanta star Brian Tyree Henry has landed a guest-starring role on How to Get Away with Murder, EW has learned exclusively.

Per usual in the world of Shondaland, details on Henry’s role are being kept under wraps, but the actor will appear in the Feb. 9 episode.

In addition to starring alongside Donald Glover on Atlanta as rapper Alfred Miles, Henry originated the role of The General in The Book of Mormon. His TV credits also include Boardwalk Empire and The Good Wife. EW also recently broke the news that Henry would be appearing on NBC’s This Is Us as young William’s cousin.

How to Get Away with Murder airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
