What the heck did they do with Jake Johnson’s face on this poster?July 31, 2013 at 10:12 am #292839
Pretyy sure Jake Johnson wasn’t even at this shoot.July 31, 2013 at 10:20 am #292840
That’s Jake’s expression on Emmy nomination morning.
I’m sure it’s all photoshopped.July 31, 2013 at 10:23 am #292841
I don’t think this photos were even taken for this originally. Someone at Fox just got pics of them on instragram and out them all together. It probably took like 5 minutes to this promo.July 31, 2013 at 10:29 am #292842
Winston, Schmidt and Cece look like they were really there. Jake Johnson’s head is obviously photoshopped onto a stand-in. And maybe Zooey’s too…the way the head is awkwardly leaning on her arm gives it away. Terrible artwork.
Looking forward to the new season, though. More Merritt Wever!July 31, 2013 at 1:47 pm #292843
Horrible poster, as others have mentioned I don´t know what they have done to Jake Johnson’s head, but it seems really strange. Horrible use of the photoshop.
Really looking forward to the new season, with the return of Damon Wayans Jr and more Merrit Wever!!. I hope the third season is at least as good as the second one was.July 31, 2013 at 3:54 pm #292844
looking forward to this, my personal comedy winner of this year. Expecting the best for this next season.July 31, 2013 at 4:29 pm #292845

Dreama Walker and Angela Kinsey will both have recurring roles on the show this season!August 14, 2013 at 7:10 am #292847
Do you have any scoop on Coach’s return to New Girl? —Sarah
NATALIE: Yeah, what happened to Coach (Happy Endings‘ Damon Wayans, Jr.) after he moved to Santa Monica? “[Coach] comes back into the picture at a time when the roommates are at odds with each other,” executive producer Liz Meriwether tells us. “The guys are all fighting for his friendship.” Well, most of the guys. “We’re playing with [Winston] being really insecure about it and that he’s really intimidated by Coach and having to learn to standup to Coach,” she says.August 14, 2013 at 9:22 am #292848
everything pointing out to be an amazing season, I’m really glad that bringing Wayans, Jr seems to give a lot of focus to Winston too, that has great potential.September 17, 2013 at 6:33 am #292849

Fun premiere! The Mexico scenes worked better than I thought they would, though with an ensemble this strong, it’s criminal to break it apart for too long. There are as many pros as cons to pairing up Nick and Jess, but they’re making it work right now, so fingers crossed. Schmidt having to choose between CeCe and Elizabeth seems like a nonstarter, since one is the series regular and the other is a guest star. It doesn’t mean that Schmidt and CeCe will instantly be together, but the odds are not in Merritt Wever’s favor lol. And a seemingly throwaway Winston storyline was actually amusing! The best parts were when Winston expectedly became obsessive over his puzzle-making and started singing to it.
Grade for “All In”: B+September 18, 2013 at 6:18 am #292851
I liked it a lot, one of those few times I really like Winston in a complete episode, which is a plus. The puzzle scenes were great.
I agree that Nick and Jess together has pros and cons, but I think the easiest way to not screw it up is to not break them up with Winston and Schmidt, a Nick and Jess show would be as tiresome as every other coupling on television, specially this early in the show’s run. They’re going to break up soon, I don’t think they’ll keep them together that long, but so far is going great.
I’m glad this show is back.
