Season two premieres tomorrow night on the CW at 8:00 PM.
EPISODE 2×01 – “Game Change”
In the second-season opener, Nikita and Michael are prepared to use the black box to take down Division and Oversight, but Amanda, who’s now in command of Division, enlists the help of Alex by promising to find her father’s killer, and Amanda is determined to succeed as Oversight has assigned someone to observe her.

I thought Game Change was near flawless. It’s hard to pick just one as my favorite scene but if I did have to choose it would be Nikita’s brutal smack down of Alex. Nikita disarmed her former protege, threw her against a car, broke her arm (twice) and shot her. It is quite stunning to see Nikita go from hard core assassin mode to affectionate girlfriend but Maggie Q pulls it off.September 26, 2011 at 6:11 pm #226980
I agree — “Game Change” was a really strong episode. It seems that the series is going in an even darker direction this season especially looking at how brutally Nikita attacked Alex. My only problem with this episode was the attack drones; I appreciate what they were trying to do there but the special effects that were used to create the drones were laughable.September 26, 2011 at 6:20 pm #226981
I think the drones were okay in that particular scene because the camera focused heavily on Nikita’s reaction to them and she sold it.September 30, 2011 at 2:18 pm #226982
EPISODE 2×02 – “Falling Ash”
Nikita and Michael probe a corrupt Division program and reunite with Owen, who is looking for Dr. Mars (John Ralston), the program’s mastermind. Mars also created the Regimen drug that has taken control of Owen, and he hopes the doc can provide a cure.

KNIGHTFALL was the best thing I’ve seen on TV in such a long time.
Why isn’t Nikita getting the viewers. I really don’t understand. What do you think is wrong?? Perhaps if it went on a different network things would be so much better.October 8, 2011 at 3:23 pm #226984
Every episode is getting better and better. That final scene when Nikita thought Michael had died I could feel the depth of her loss in those few seconds.
Nikita is one of those shows that is so well acted, produced and written that there is no need of heavy musical montages. That is what made that explosion scene so brilliant to watch.
And I don’t think I even have to mention how much I feel Maggie Q is deserving of an Emmy nomination do I? 😉October 8, 2011 at 4:16 pm #226985
Where do i even begin with KNIGHTFALL?I was emotionally drained by the end of the episode. A-class acting from Mags, Shane and Aaron, my perfect 3. Even the guest star “Ramone” was really good!. Maggie Q. is the perfect balance of emotional depth and straight-up bad-ass-ery!!! And shane is phenomenal, knocking the leading-man role outta the bag, and puling out all those ‘Mr. Smith’ tricks!
I think TT Michael and Nikita last night were the perfect choice of words in the sense that ep. 3 was centered on michael and Nikita almost losing each other–I call it destiny!
I dunno if its the time slot of Nikita on TV, but i believe we would hold our ground for many more seasons to come! You can quote me on that 🙂
P.s Maggie sooo deserves an Emmy!October 8, 2011 at 8:06 pm #226986
I try to understand and rationalize why this show is doing so poorly in the ratings. Some say I am making excuses but really…this is one damn good tv show. And it deserves more viewers.October 9, 2011 at 8:42 am #226987
Thought “Knightfall” was another strong episode. This season so far has been much more consistent quality wise than last season, but I hope the writers don’t get too complacent. It’d be nice to see something different happen to shake things up a little bit.
Any show on the CW is bound to get lackluster ratings period. Doesn’t help that Nikita doesn’t really target the audience of younger girls — but even more of a problem is there really isn’t any other network that Nikita would fit on besides Syfy.October 9, 2011 at 10:07 am #226988
I think it would fit on CBS or Fox but I imagine the Mikita romance would be pared down a lot in that situation. But as someone said to me — no show — no ship.October 28, 2011 at 6:38 am #226989
EPISODE 2×06 – “343 Walnut Lane”
Birkoff finds Nikita’s birth certificate, and Michael and Nikita find Nikita’s father, but it’s not the reunion she had hoped for; and Percy reveals to Alex that the black box Nikita has holds secrets that could help her avenge Alex’s father’s death.

Season started off strong with “Partners” being one of the series’ strongest episodes to date. The last two episodes, however, have barely been above average. Seems like the show is struggling with how to balance the action and drama aspects of the show. I’d much rather see a strong action show with intricate plots than what is going on right now.November 4, 2011 at 9:03 am #226991
EPISODE 2×07 – “Clawback”
Ryan has secrets to give Nikita regarding how Oversight is funded, but Amanda intercepts the messages between Ryan and Nikita, and Nikita and Michael race to get Ryan out of prison. Meanwhile, Alex runs into someone from her past.

Well Nikita is buzzed to have one of its strongest episodes of the season tomorrow night with “Wrath”. Some are saying Maggie Q would be a lock for an emmy if not for the Anti-CW/Genre issue.
And that just breaks my heart.
Nikita Trailer with clips from the next few episodes. It is stunning to think about the fact this show is only getting 1.5 million viewers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAVbvWqVSBk&feature=youtu.be
