The Leftovers series finale “The Book of Nora” by Tom Perrotta, Tom Spezialy and Damon Lindelof is the only episode from the season that I have not seen, but it is likely to be their (only) writing submission, so tune in June 4th. You voted for “International Assassin” last year!RRawParticipantJoined:Apr 23rd, 2015Topics:0Posts:145May 18, 2017 at 5:20 pm #1202096637

Not sure what “Rectify” will submit, but I’m gonna assume they’ll do the finale, although each of the episodes would be deserving. “All I’m Sayin”- Rectify, written by Ray McKinnonReisParticipantJoined:Jun 17th, 2014Topics:28Posts:762May 20, 2017 at 11:18 am #1202097775

Toast Can’t Never be Bread Again – Orange is the New Black, by Tara Herrmann and Jenji Kohan. It’s been a year and I still can’t get over how beautifully written that episode was.
Assassins – The Crown, by Peter Morgan also deserves to be nominated.smurty11ParticipantJoined:Sep 7th, 2014Topics:15Posts:570May 21, 2017 at 3:58 am #1202098371

“Inauguration” from The Good Fight.
Yes, I admit I’m a fanboy of Wife / Fight, but I really admire how Robert King, Michelle King, and Phil Alden Robinson managed to maintain continuity with the parent series, introduce new challenges for the continuing characters, and seamlessly introduce a new cast all within the first hour of the series. Definitely worth consideration in Writing.

That was definitely the highlight of the season – I think it was up there with some of the best Good Wife episodes. Unfortunately, I don’t think the rest of the season quite lived up to it.helmetzKeymasterJoined:Nov 6th, 2010Topics:30Posts:362May 28, 2017 at 12:17 pm #1202104510
Thank you all so much so far. You’ve given me a huge array of drama scripts to review, and I can’t wait to get started. There’s still a few more weeks until voting ends, so I’d appreciate any more one-script-only submissions. Thank you!!!!Andrew EngParticipantJoined:Nov 3rd, 2010Topics:16Posts:1385May 28, 2017 at 12:27 pm #1202104519
