Year After Year… nothing. Its one of those rare show that can claim to never have a bad season, where every season evolves from its former and is always great, unique, and innovative in every aspect whether that be acting, action, story, music, cinematography, the overall feel. 2015 in general feels like its been a cursed year for the show:

Season 5 is pushed back to mid season for new flop shows
Its episode order is reduced from 22 to 13
Theirs a just it might, it just might be the final season
Completely snubbed at the Emmy Awards

just fuck… and this for POI fans on here.

If better and more popular shows get to be snubbed year after year (Rectify,Masters of Sex,Hannibal,The Walking Dead,The Americans) why would this recieve nominations? I think it’s waaay more off radar than those shows above.

If good wife can’t even get major nominations anymore this show certainly has no chance! Is it good? Yes it is! But is on cbs. It’s a “procedural” , its sci fi. Once emmy voters hear cbs or procedural they think they can miss episodes and any show you can miss an episode of is not worth Emmys now.

Got into Supporting Drama Actress and Actor. Pretty big categories.

But yeah this is not an Emmy show

It made my top six for its second and third season. However, I gave up on it about midway through season 4. Unlike some other other sci-fi procedurals that become more interesting as they delved into their mythology (Fringe, The X-Files) this became kinda frustrating for me. And I never cared too much for any character or particular arc, so it was easy to move on from. I may catch back up eventually.

It didn’t become bad. I just… lost interest. It’s definitely one of the few best shows on broadcast TV. Yet, considering how many decent-good dramas are struggling for a lil bit a recognition I’m not feeling any way about it consistently being overlooked.
