I made a thread similar to this about the Animated Programme, so I won’t overcrowd the forum with every single award that isn’t in the predictions centre. I was just wondering who is the frontrunner to win this award

Brenda Strong has truly earned this nom and I hope it turns into a win.

I think it will be special if two actresses from Desperate Housewives win for playing characters that have died, assuming that Mrs Joosten (R.I.P.) wins Supporting Actress.

And Kristen Wiig could lose on her two noms to the two Desperate Housewives actresses.

Everyone here seems to be predicting Brenda Strong. Personally, I’d love to see Dan Povenmire win. He is so unbelievably funny in that role.

I’ll throw my hat in the ring for Brenda Strong too. It’s so wonderful that Emmys finally recognized Brenda for her terrific work so late in the show’s run (final 2 seasons) given that they’d dropped everyone else years ago. I’m not counting Kathryn Joosten who I feel got a sympathy/one of their own academy member’s votes.

I’ve seen all the tapes, and Wiig is very funny in her episode. It’s pretty much her normal speaking voice, but it’s still hilarious. I’m rooting for either her or Brenda Strong.

Unfortunately, the winner was Maurice LaMarche, who won his second consecutive Emmy in this category. I was rather upset about this. LaMarche received exactly 0% of predictions in the poll above. The true winner (based on your predictions) should have been Brenda Strong with 59% of your votes.
