Got around to watching Sunday’s series premiere and LOVED it. It’s not the best made show on TV, but I was thoroughly entertained throughout. I love the espionage thriller aspect of it, but the juicy soapiness of Grey’s/HTGAWM. Shondaland for the FBI. <3<3

Here’s to hoping the writers (and performances) keep us engaged from week to week!

Priyanka Chopra is surprisingly pretty solid as Alex Parrish. Really enjoyed the premiere. Also it was nice to see Brian J. Smith outside of Sense8 even though it was just for a brief moment. Looking forward to the rest of the season!

It’s early, but can Chopra get a globe nomination?

^ if it manages to become the same sort of success as the shows it keeps getting compared to, then absolutely.

The pilot was exactly what I was expecting. Entertaining, a beautiful and charismatic cast, plot twist in nearly every scene, full of humor and drama. A Shonda Rimes’s series without  Shonda Rimes .

I just finished the pilot and it is highly entertaining. There’s a lot of room for improvement. It does feels like a Shonda Rhimes show, I just hope the writers are better.

This show is addicting. I expected to hate it but ended up being captivated. When he pulled the gun, I was officially sold. So far my money is on the twins but the blonde girl is my second choice for the terrorist.

This was the most entertaining pilot of the season for me (at least so far). Was it the best? I’m not sure. But it was the one pilot where I knew there was big potential here. It’s telling that the show got the highest ratings and total viewers of the night on ABC despite airing at 10 PM. If it keeps it up (and I expect it will), I think this can be a big player for ABC. And hopefully “Blood and Oil” beforehand doesn’t hurt it. The Shondaland comparisons are obvious, but necessary. The story is fun, the twists are interesting thus far, and it’s the new show I’m most excited about right now.

Outstanding first episode. Terrific production values. This hour feels like a worthy contender for next year’s Creative Arts Emmy ceremony.

I’m sad to see Brian J. Smith go – he was one of the best parts of the pilot! But I guess he needs to go back filming Sense8 season 2!

Loved the Pilot! VERY confusing storyline, so the writers better work hard to make sure everything matches up. Loved Priyanka and Johanna Braddy(From UnREAL!)

The first 30 minutes innovative and riveting. The second half not so much. It became silly, not very credible. I question the casting choice for the instructor with the drinking problem. And the speech explaining the death to the trainees – Really??

So I’m the only person who hated it then?  I know suspension of disbelief is required from time to time but the there’s a limit to how implausible things become before I switch off and for this it was about 45 minutes.  If FBI training is even 10% like what was depicted then god help us all.  Also, if any other network other than ABC had made it, surely ABC would have sued for how much it ripped off HTGAWM.  I mean there’s homage and then there’s having a strong black female in charge who is dating a “damaged” white male colleague, who seemingly has an affair or some sort of thing with one of the students – all of which could be traded for the Murder students without anyone noticing.  Just a wretched show IMO but then I hated Murder too.
