With numbers that strong, I wonder if NBC will consider moving the show to a higher-traffic night or leaving it where it is to avoid messing with a good thing.

Friday night sleeper hits have been moved before and grown: “The X-Files” to Sunday on FOX, “CSI” to Thursday on CBS.

And to think there was so much hype for “The X Factor” this year. They spent so much money on Britney Spears and relentless promotion and instead of rising in the ratings or even holding steady, they’ve been experiencing big declines.

NBC needs to fire its promotions department — and most of the people in charge it seems. I’m a fan, but I didn’t know “30 Rock” was new last night.

Then again, TV coverage in the Northeast has been all Sandy all the time, so I didn’t know much about anything else happening in TV.

Very good numbers for the two ABC comedies.

“Shark Tank” has turned into the unsung hero of ABC’s schedule.
