Rick and Morty Are back!!! One of the most brilliant animated series currently airing is coming back, premiering next Sunday, July 26th at 11:30p on Adult Swim.

Really loved season 1, “Rixty Minutes” is one of my favorite comedy episodes I ever saw on tv. Looking foward to that.

I’m looking forward to seeing the second season. I thought the first season was a bit uneven, with episodes I really liked, then some that I disliked. Overall, this can be the best animated series going right now as long as it has more hits than misses, because when it hits, it really works.

Well, that is embarassing,… I’ve been binge watching “Vikings” and totally forgot Ricky.

    Anyways.

In case anybody hasn’t seen it yet, Rick & Morty’s appearance on The Simpsons (in the show’s opening couch gag) will be rerun on September 6.

Or, you can always go here

    That was great /\.

Also, episode 4… “You are not my wife , Coach”  Been seeing lots of references lately to FNL, and I never get tired of those.

Just caught up with the season so far, and have been loving it. Favorite episdes so far have been “Mortynight Run” (Andy Daly and Jemaine Clement were so delightful) and “Total Rickall”.

Don’t panic if you see a repeat of the season opener next Sunday – new episodes return on 9/13.  I am assuming [adult swim] doesn’t want to “waste” a new episode on Labor Day weekend.

Panic 30 minutes later, when you realize they weren’t kidding about there not being any more new Aqua Whatever It’s Called This Season episodes…and then it sinks in that there probably won’t be any more new Metalocalpyse episodes either.  (I wouldn’t be surprised if the “finale” ends up being a rock opera performed at one of those live Dethklok tours the staff does occasionally.)

That was an oddly good episode, the inception concept used as universes, creative at the least. Good job from Stephen Colbert, the show is having as many famous doing voice overs as Bojack the Horseman and it saying something.

That last episode was terrific, best of the season, loved how this show can turn almost anything into the best comedy on tv.

Terrific finale for a terrific season. Easily one of the best series of the year, probably the best.

    That was impeccable.

Having Rick’s self-loathing and depression lead us to this felt about as perfect a decision as one could hope to make. I’d forgotten just how much I loved “Hurt”, but hearing Reznor’s version tacked onto the end practically had me in tears. So excited to see where they go next, and I hope Mr. Poopybutthole is wrong in saying it will take them another year and a half to finish Season 3.

    RIP Birdperson.
