    Tonight.

“Survival of the Fittest” – The election results for the presidential race between Mellie Grant and Francisco Vargas are announced, and the shocking results lead to an explosive outcome.

Very excited for this and forever hopeful Scandal can return to its previous heights.

    Anyone else gonna be watching?

ABC’s ‘Scandal’ To End With Season 7

    I called it!
This season is terrible but I must say that Lerry Washington is killing it.

I don’t know whether to be happy or sad about. The quality has definitely declined so I do think it’s best that it finishes before it’s truly bad but at the same time I still enjoy the show most weeks for all its melodrama and I’ll miss that staple in my Thursday nights. Hope it means that Kerry Washington can move on to some great projects but I fear that great actors like Bellamy Young will never get a role like this one again.

    Um… wow… I can’t believe I’m saying this… but…um… Scandal is back.

Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t great, it was very flawed, but it was the best episode in years. Let’s start with the bad.

The case of the week was weak. The diologue at the bar was so cringey. But everything else was good.

This was the first time in forever I didn’t think Quinn was annoying. I was actuallly rooting for her. She was really good tonight.

This was also the first time in forever I liked Marcus. He was a great character until he became a gladiator Once he became a gladiator he just becme a bumbling idiot taking up space in the background. He actually fely like a real character tonight.

I’m glad Quinn is in charge of OPA now. Once the gladiators dissolved the show became weak. They were what gave the show energy. I liked how the case of the weeks carried the episodes and gave toom for the season but there was still an actual story to the season. Once the semi-procedural aspect left the show fell apart and just got weak and repetive. Now that Kerri is at the white house, I’m hoping it brings us back to the early seasons where she is the cyrus character, Quinn is the liv character and Mellie is the Grant character. It will be different enough to where it isn’t repetitve. I really am excited for the rest of the show.

Now that the stupid spy stuff is almost done the show is reaching an actual good plot. We have a new big bad and Olivia will take care of her while QUinn ocassionally helps as she does her case of the weeks. I’m hoping Quinn recruits some actual gladiators that do stuff and are actual characters. I am excited to see who is recruited and how they intertwine with the Olivia story. It is looking like the final season could be great again.

And we have to talk about that reveal. Scandal finally remembered how to make us care about an episode. That reveal was fire. It was sop good and actually made me care.

Khandi Alexander is out for that Emmy. I think I should predict her. Known actress+ meat+ formerly nominated for same role+ weak category. She could easuily pull it off. But then again, John Tenney couldn’t get in last year making the first year scandal was completley snubbed. Tenney should have been nominated.

I am so excited for Khandi’s hammy over the top dram. I actually care about the show again. Hopefully this isn’t a one week thing.

    Scandal is back!

    My grade: B+

Scandal just went all the way to motherfuckin left after season 3. Jake’s presence has ruined the quality of the show and the constant bait and switch.

Oh and if you think Khandi Alexander is over the top, what in the world do you consider Rowan? Or Cyrus? The entire cast screeches and bathes in melodramatic acting so Alexander is one of the only ones I can actually take seriously.

I love Khandi. They are all over the top. Over the top doesn’t always mean bad. Khandi is not over the top compared to the rest of the cast but if you put her character in lets say the Americand youd be like damn thats over the top. I love Khandi though. She’s the best actor on the show. And over the top is why people watched Scandal in the first place.

I know Scandal got sucky after season 3 but I’m hoping after this episode that it gets back on track.

Don’t get me wrong. Its still not great and its not as good as old scandal, but if you watch it expecting the trash from this season, it’ll be a pleasent suprise. If you watch it after reading my comment, you probably won’t like it lol. But even though the episode was for sure flawed it was better than the rest of the season and gave me hope that it can get back on its feet. I guess I its not that I liked the episode because it was good, I liked it because it gave me hope that it can be good again. Basically, the whole point of this episode was to clean up the mess from the last few seasons. B+ might be way to high of a score but I was high on hope. There were still cheesy moments but they finally found out how to make a bunch of the useless characters useful and make the story intersting.

I still didn’t like it. Best episode of the season but that’s not saying much. I still really hated Quinn in this, I hate every character. I mean, what kind of president pardons someone because some crazy lady yells at him? We’ll have to see how Alexander is next week, definitely too early to tell for her. I feel like the overall quality of the show would keep her from being considered. Oh, and Mellie offering Marcus position of communications director? Seriously the people running the country in Scandal are honestly a few steps worse than the people currently running the actual country.

I loved Katie Lowes this week. Great performance. I really hope they don’t actually have Olivia leave OPA. She works best as an outsider. Everything Quinn said about her in this episode is what I wish they could make her be again but I doubt’t they will.
