People need to call the bank to activate credit cards for over 8 years now. (Even longer if anybody wants to say “well he was governor too”). How did Fitz not know that? Not to mention it comes with a sticker on it that says so (which was shown).
Anyway. I would say it was a good episode but then Papa Pope had to come in and ruin it with his token annoying speech.October 22, 2017 at 2:43 am #1202244710
Really liked this Fitz-centered episode, maybe more than I should have. I needed a break from black-hat Olivia for a week, and adding in subplot of the Confederate monument statue debate was timely and topical. Yes, Mellie’s scene was the highlight of the episode. Bellamy Young is the real deal. I hope she lands on many great roles post-“Scandal,” b/c she more than deserves them. I liveee for Papa Pope’s overwritten speechifying, and no one does that better than Joe Morton. So much screentime with Marcus though was unfortunate. Sad that Columbus Short ended up being so shitty, b/c he was a more interesting actor than Cornelius Smith, Jr. currently is, and Harrison’s story deserved more than the abrupt end that it received from prior seasons.October 23, 2017 at 9:04 pm #1202246486
Scandal deserved more Emmy nominations especially for Bellamy Young, Marla Gibbs and Courtney B. Vance (Guest in Season 5) and Khandi Alexander (Season 6 in Guest)October 23, 2017 at 10:11 pm #1202246529
I agree all 4 of these were shamefully overlooked.October 25, 2017 at 7:56 pm #1202248261
Also, Kerry Washington should have been nominated in 2015 and submitted “Run”October 27, 2017 at 6:55 am #1202249440
This episode (besides the ending which I saw coming from a million miles away) was great. The minute Jake showed her the pics I was like “She is going to see Daddy isnt she”. My grade: ANovember 3, 2017 at 6:34 am #1202401003
This episode….just jam packed. On one hand its the Fitz/Olivia/Rowan stuff which was awesome. Also, I agree go home Fitz please. On the other you have the whole thing with the President of Beherani and Melly which is captivating. Then you have the story line about his niece which was great and she was EMMY worthy. Then there was the ending. The minute they didnt get in that car and leave immediately I knew something was up. Then it happened. My grade: A+November 3, 2017 at 7:52 am #1202401097
What a great episode last night! They’re really sending the show off nicely. Keep it up, Scandal!

That episode…..A+ Also, if Fitz or Rowan has Quinn I’m gonna scream lol. My grade: A+November 10, 2017 at 11:29 am #1202407388
A lot of bad acting and a storyline ridiculous enough to send Katie Lowes off to have her baby. I wonder how long this whole is going to last.November 17, 2017 at 9:25 am #1202413520
That episode was crazy in both a good and bad way.
The Good: That ending and Olivia vs her dad about Quinn. Mellie and Fitz the sequel maybe?
The Bad: Cyrus is getting smart? Ugh. That ending. If they kill Quinn I’m gonna flip.
My grade: A+ and my MVP was (and it pains me to say): Jake.November 18, 2017 at 9:55 pm #1202414605
Scandal has actually been pretty good latelyNovember 23, 2017 at 4:16 pm #1202419380
Parts of the winter finale were laughable but Kerry Washington sold it completely. It’s too obvious Quinn won’t be dead but hopefully it’s a really good twist anyway with what’s actually happened. The most encouraging thing about this season is that it actually has a distinct character arc for Olivia of her losing her way and becoming like her father and with that the material for Washington keeps getting more and more interesting, which is pivotal to a show like this. These past few episodes (sans the Fitz one) have been decent so I’m looking forward to seeing what the final few will bring.November 27, 2017 at 7:25 am #1202421949
I hope Quinn is dead … it would make for a good final war as the series came to an end … some people need to die
