O.J. Simpson is still in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. So, my answer would be no.

I agree. I mean, yes, it’s weird to have him in with the news yesterday, but that doesn’t tarnish his amazing and influential television career. It’s not like the Baseball Hall of Fame in which they penalize your for (using or just being suspected of) doing steroids.

…or whatever Pete Rose did, and he’ll NEVER go to the Baseball Hall of Fame.  O.J. Simpson wouldn’t have survived in the NFL of today (after the Ray Rice video surfaced on TMZ last year), because O.J. would be considered a huge liability to a team.

But, the last eight/ten months have tarnished Bill Cosby’s career.  No more “I Spy”, “Fat Albert”, or “The Cosby Show” re-runs are on TV because of the rape allegations.

Absolutely not. Though I have no real personal attachment to the man or his career, he earned this honor for his work not his personal image. Roman Polanski wouldn’t have won his Oscar in 2001 if their was a clause that revoked any awards if you did something bad

No, he should not be removed. If everyone in the Hall of Fame who did something horrible had to be removed, then there would be very few honorees left. The HoF is for his work, not his off-screen behavior.

Rewriting history is heinous, repellent, and dangerous.

Besides, if Hitler can win Man of the Year, and Stalin win this twice, let’s keep Bill there. It’s something to look at anyways, now and in the future.

Laughing  It’s not as if the Television Academy Hall of Fame is worse than the Baseball Hall of Fame!  Laughing

(Sorry—but I choose to not take this seriously.)

Honestly, I’m still in shock that such a seemingly nice guy could do that but just goes to show you never really know what someone is capable of….anyways I’m going to say no as well.

No. he should remain there, but maybe add a little footnote about how he’s a rapist.
