Since we know sooner rather than later HBO will make a movie about the last Presidential Election cycle. During Streep’s Cecil B DeMille Speech I couldn’t help but think she should play Hillary Clinton. Who would be a good Trump? I’m not sure Pacino (“Angels in America” co-star) could pull that off?

    Thoughts…..

She could pull off Trump as easy as she could pull of Hillary. So she doesn’t need another actor to play the “leads”

I want to see Trumps reaction if Baldwin plays him dramatically as well and ends up not only winning an Emmy and CC, but Oscar sag and golden globe. That would be hillarious.

I love how Bale can play anyone, but I am becoming concerned about his health at this point.

Streep already channeled Hillary’s look and persona in “The Manchurian Candidate.” Not sure if she’d want to dip into that well again, but there is only a two-year age difference between the two women. It’s certainly possible, and Queen Meryl would win many awards for it. As for a “serious” Trump, I guess Alec Baldwin could recalibrate his “SNL” spoof to make it work, but I think I’d go in an unconventional direction and choose someone else: Bruce Willis.
