Liked this one. The Jian-Yang bit was predictable, but T.J. Miller always kills with his reactions.

I thought you hated TJ Miller?

As a celebrity mostly. But he has his moments on the show.

Kumail Nanjiani was hilarious. So was Zach Woods. It is ridiculous this show has never been sag ensemble nominated. I love Jiang-Yang. The episode itself was not amazing. Hopefully the season will improve. Dont get me wrong, its still great, but not at its peak

This episode was fantastic. It’s hilarious to me that Gavin Nelson has screwed himself over so bad all because of Barker asking to get dropped off first on their flight.

Nominations across the board from Orange is the New Black, Better Call Saul, and Silicon Valley

A really great episode this week, one of the show’s best in a long time. Really good arc, sharp dialogue, clear narrative focus, a lot of fun. Kumail Nanjiani was great, but the whole cast delivered, which was great to see- Matt Ross is so underrated on this show. Can’t wait to see what happens next, as this is a real return to form for the show.

This show has been so damn good so far. 2 very strong episodes right out of the gate. Should be a strong contender for Comedy Series if it can keep it up.

Great news for HBO seeing as “Veep” is having the shittiest of seasons, so far and it’s no lock to reclaim the crown.

This episode felt very clichéd and conventional to me. I’m loving Veep way more so far.

This has to be a serious contender for writing. And if Kumail Nanjiani’s upcoming Sundance hit is a box office surprise, this episode might justify a nomination

Am I the only one who doesn’t recall Jack Bark being this batshit crazy last season? He always seemed like a devilish clever weird guy.

Completely agree with writing, as they often submit the pilot episode of each season, and this was much better written than last week’s. Nanjiani getting a nomination I still think is definitely a long shot, which is a shame, as I would love to see a Matt Walsh-type nomination to happen for someone on this show in Supporting Actor.

Zach Woods has deserved a nomination for years.

    Episode: Intellectual Property

Synopsis: An overtired Richard (Thomas Middleditch) pushes himself to the brink of sanity while trying to move ahead with his next big idea. Eyeing a comeback, Erlich (T.J. Miller) pressures an uncooperative Jian-Yang (Jimmy O. Yang). Monica (Amanda Crew) sets a trap at Raviga to improve her standing with Laurie (Suzanne Cryer). Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) goes on a date; Big Head (Josh Brener) enters the world of academia; Gavin (Matt Ross) faces an unknown future.

    Discuss this tomorrow!

They are not going to submit the premiere this year unless Alec Berg does not write the finale because they always submit the finale by Berg.

This was a definite improvement over last week, but the season is underwhelming so far, still waiting for a great episode.
