I just saw photos of Aziz Ansari starting filming of season two of Master of None and got me thinking that it won’t be eligible at the Golden Globes and SAG awards this next year. What other shows will be sitting out at the next set of nominations?

    No Golden Globes
    Master of None
    Homeland

    No SAG
    Master of None
    Homeland

    No Emmy
    Game of Thrones
    The Good Wife
    Downton Abbey

The Knick is delayed until sometime in 2017. As far as we know, there’s just been one script commissioned while they figure out what the show looks like going forward. So it could very realistically miss the Emmys.

Amy Schumer said that her show is on an indefinite hiatus, so it’s likely absent from the Emmys next year.

Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail has mentioned wanting a longer hiatus between seasons two and three than there was between one and two, so it could miss the Globes/SAGs if it’s long enough. I doubt USA would allow a hiatus that makes it miss the Emmys, though.

After airing in the fall last year, Fargo is delayed until sometime next year, so it’s out for the Globes. FX has intimated that it’ll be spring before the show premieres, so it’ll be cutting it close with the Emmys.

There’s been no information about American Crime Story season 2. The theme (Hurricane Katrina) has been confirmed, but there’s been no indication of casting or production beginning. The show premiered in February this year, so it should be later than that for season two; could it conceivably be delayed enough to miss the Emmys next year?

I know this isn’t the question, but in addition to these shows missing/possibly missing some of awards season, we have Getting On, Key & Peele, Downton Abbey, and The Good Wife all on their way out.
