    Christopher Eccleston!

In all seriousness Matthew Modine has no chance. I have a feeling that as you listed him, David Harbour is presumably submitting in lead, which makes no sense.

Right now, I think the only real lock to get back in will be Banks. Lithgow is a sure thing and Brown also seems pretty good. I think Bryan Cranston can get in there. With the news of season 3 of BCS, wouldn’t it be amazing if we had Cranston, Banks, and Giancarlo Esposito competing against each other?

I’m surprised he (or The Path in general) hasn’t been in any discussion for recognition tbh.

Yeah The Path just hasn’t caught on. I mean, it’s a very flawed show (mostly due to spotty writing), but Paul, Monaghan, and Dancy are great in it. Hulu just hasn’t been able to break through the clutter like Netflix, and Amazon to a lesser extent. I have a feeling Esposito is going to be in less than half the eps for S3 of BCS, so I suspect he’ll be a lock for Guest Actor. Banks is obviously a lock, and I think McKean could sneak in as I suspect he wasn’t too far off from a nom last year. Cranston for Sneaky Pete is the wildcard. I could easily see voters namechecking him without seeing a minute of Sneaky Pete. If they do, he has a shot at winning with his 10 minute, Ep 4 monologue.

Really hoping Voight misses this year as he’s not great in Ray Donovan, a show I have no idea why it’s catching on with the academy. And I highly doubt any of the supporting players from Homeland get in as I think this is the year it gets totally dropped.

If the handmaidens tale is successful, I wonder if the voters discover Hulu and find end up discovering the path as a result- thus rewarding the actors.

If any supporting actor gets in for Ray Donovan it should be Eddie Marsan. In fact, I wonder if he can upset for a nomination since they seem to watch the show.

Possibly. Maybe Paul just missed in Lead Actor last year, who knows?

I hope Jimmi Simpson could sneak in. If he does, that means the voters definatley watched the show because in my opinion he was the best male actor on the show. In fact, he has been in a bunch of stuff so I wouldnt be shocked if he did sneak in.

I also hope Rupert Friend gets back in
