This seems like an overreaction. A very long one too.June 15, 2014 at 2:15 pm #319406
I wouldn’t say viciously attacked……June 15, 2014 at 3:34 pm #319407
How nice that Feinberg regrets blasting us as “morons,” but it’s shocking that he stands by his slam at our TCA critique as “an astounding celebration of ignorance.” Notice that he doesn’t bother to address any of the points we bring up. He doesn’t refute any of them, just hurls his insults and walks smugly off.June 15, 2014 at 5:18 pm #319408
well that was not a smart move for him. He knows how to make enemies pretty fastJune 15, 2014 at 5:40 pm #319409
Yea I wouldn’t say it was a vicious attack but it was unprofessional. I don’t really know what to think of Fienberg. I listen to his and Sepinwall’s podcast every week and he definitely seems to be a moody guy with some bitterness to him. He also is somewhat smug and pretentious.June 16, 2014 at 11:20 am #319411
Tom, I am fully on your side, your job and this websites job is to point out what award shows do well, and what they do wrong. I am tired of these sensitve attacks from crtics/bloggers who can’t take a little criticism. This is something I have noticed with Sasha Stone lately as well, in the sense that it feels like people are attacking her, and her opinions. You and Sasha were my introduction to the understanding of film/television critique back in the early 2000s. Now with twitter people are being far too sensitive. You all do a fantastic job, keep up the good work, and if you ever need help blasting more than happy too, bravo!
