Tonight, South Park will begin it’s 18th season on the air with the episode entitled, “Go Fund Yourself.” In celebration of this, I decided to put out my list of what I consider to be the 50 greatest episodes of South Park. Look it over and let me know if you agree with them or if you think I’m completely insane for putting a certain episode above another and that I should listen to your authori-tah! Above all it’s a celebration (bitches!) of the amazing humor that South Park has brought us since August of 1997.

Woo, that’s quite a task, Charlie. The show’s had a great amount of fantastic output, so it’s hard for me to argue one way or the other. Thinking about it (and it may be because I related to the material a bit as a kid), “Make Love, Not Warcraft” has always been one of my very favorites.

I agree with you on nearly every count Charlie, except for one – I think Trapped in the Closet is by far the best episode of South Park because it is just the most crazy, incredibly offensive, hilarious episode that proved no one can go close to the level of satire and pure balls Trey Parker and Matt Stone have.

I love this show, I’ve been pretty busy lately so I’m ashamed I didn’t start the thread for this new season, god damn it. Do we use this thread to comments and updates on the episodes of this new season? Or should someone do another one?

This is very tough, I think Scott Tenorman Must Die (S5 E4) is in my top 10, along with “World War Zimmerman” from last season which missed your list, maybe you didn’t watch last season? The christmas episode, I don’t remember the title, but it is the one where the forest creatures are rapist and devil-ish?haha and there is badass Santa so… ony of my favorites, the trilogy of Imaginationland, the broadway episode, there are so many, but ye my favorite is the Imagination land trilogy. followed closely by “Trapped in the Closet” which is just magnificent.
